Too much Cho (Altered Melee; Vrs.5.2)

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
I WILL NOT FINISH THIS MAP!
It was my first take on altered melee, when I was quite inexperienced with the world editor.

My first altered melee map. It is made out of what my friends and I are thinking about. Sometimes it is really weird stuff.
The story hehind all this is that there were four nations: Justlandia (select "Orc"), Phillage (select "Human"), Daniopolis (select "Undead") and The Neutral Ground (select "Night elf"). Daniel, the mighty Conquerer, conquered the whole world and called his land Daniopolis. One day three annoyed peasants started a rebellion. They were called Justin, Ludwig and Philipp. They destroyed the state of Daniopolis. After they had won their freedom Justin and Philipp disagreed with each other in everything. Then they started the great war. One faction, The Neutral Ground, led by their friend Ludwig, stayed neutral. His goal was it to make sure that the rules of war won´t be broken and that the beautiful friendship the four of them had won´t suffer under this war. In the end he joined the fighting anyway.
Justlandia: A country full of factories, nuclear waste and mutated people.
Phillage: A normal country, except from the clever population.
Daniopolis: An old country which ones ruled the world, but then was completely wiped out. Now it wants to get his old strength back.
The Neutral Ground: A group of enviromentalists, trees and other protectes of Mother Earth that want the world to be greena again.

IMPORTANT! The AI is not working so you have to play it against another player. I´m sorry for that. I just dont know how to use the AI Editor.

I hope you enjoy my map and please leave feedback even if it is bad. But please don´t make me cry.

What kind of name is that? What does it mean? Items shouldn't be chaotically placed in with upgrades. Weird to have a non-last tier building with only one unit inside and no upgrades (referring to the Barracks). Only one hero with usual Warcraft...

Justins House has Call to Arms but it's for Peasants... Cannot understand why you've switched human with orc workers. Haven't changed much really, sorry, Substandart.

Differentiate the race further. Currently, the factory building offers exactly the same thing to both ends. Both sides are also pretty similar in upgrades and structure tree.

I can see one has potential in massing while other in high tech weaponry.

Not gonna rate unless you like seeing a 1/5 or 2/5 in your map.

  4. Drone and Flying Machine have the same icon and look alike. The Bomber too and this one is also too powerful.
  5. Many units don't have abilities. They are practically not differentiated.
  6. The factions are basically copies of themselves based on Human.
  7. Hero abilities aren't specific. "Call big dude" and that's it.
  8. Rusty Steam and Kamikaze Cart look alike, icon and all and the other faction has a similar unit too.
  9. Kamikaze Cart is basically Kamikaze-Cho.

The overall design is chaotic. I'm not sure what you wanted to do.

Hi, would you please give my map another chance, because I think I improved a lot since your last rating. Thanks.
  1. You should try to make the hotkeys yellow or some colour to be easily read. You could even place them at the beginning of the end of a unit/buildings title/name.
  2. Custom icons would not hurt.
  3. Heroes could use hero glow: How to add Hero Glow without Modeling
  4. Fast Guns has the same icon as Long Rifles.
  5. Contrary to what player might think, the Cannon Tower does not deal AoE damage certainly has no siege attack.
  6. Not sure what the point is to have an anti-air tower with fast attack speed when the other one attacks both air and land units with very fast attack speed.
  7. Towers themselves seem pretty tough.
  8. Suck Mana doesn't mention how much it siphons. Neither do Cannon and Wave mention the damage they deal and whether they can touch air units or not. Learn about tooltips:

    Creating Good Descriptions
  9. Spider Robots are pretty weak for 4 food and bombers are too strong. They can eliminate a fully upgraded main building in a matter of seconds.
  10. Why is the Steam Tank on the second position of the row?
  11. Lumber Harvesting mentions Peasants.
  12. Same with the towers only one for the "orcs" has slow poison and the tower attacks very fast.
  13. Summon Justalndians takes the place of the main building's upgrade after the Justins Castle is reached.
  14. Electricity doesn't say how much damage it deals and so on.

I don't think it's ready to be out of Substandard. Most things are just generic Warcraft III material.
You are free to ask for remoderation from any other reviewer.
