Great Story-Chapter One


1.Map Info


I will tell you a story. Story you ask? Yes. A story about a brave Rifleman-Tom.
It happened at darkest moments of Alliance history. Huge war between fearless Horde and mighty Alliance. This war took for ages. Brave heroes from both sides fight for glory over there faction. But at wars ending of Alliance victory, something happen. Horde in no time managed to fight back Alliance and attack eastern kingdom.Horde destroyed city by city. Leaving no one alive. Dark elf's where attacked by Trolls and there Voodoo.
Dwarfs and Gnomes where attacked by new Goblins war machines. Draenei where pushed to Outlands by the Blood elf's . Undead took every one who is on edge of death. No matter if he was a Alliance warrior or Hordes hero. Dark elf's lost first ,after that following Gnomes and Worgen . Dwarfs with there machines can only be in there great city-Iron forge. Only humans are still standing at Storm Wind. Defending bravely from incoming Horde. But how long?...

2.Some stuff about the map



Tom can take items, but cant carry them from level to level.
This map is for a bit knowing about warcraft, This map is rated as - Normal, Hard.
There might be some bugs.
Report any bugs that you see.
All items I used are from Hive Work Shop.
My name is Justas but I also use MoreHumor for games.
You cant use my campaign on other sites without my permission , or use any of my maps with my permission. same goes for the story.
If this campaign will be success then maybe will be doing new campaigns and maps.
I will use Turiel's Rifleman Elite skin.
Every name(model Creators) will be added at chapter two.

Tom has 5 skills- 3 are casting, 1passive and 1trigger.
Skill 1-Snipe does 250 damage + 2 seconds stun at 1000 range.
Skill 2-Fast shooter gives 75 attack speed for 5 seconds after that 30 seconds cool down
Skill 3-One more Stand revives Tom after been killed. Has 200 seconds cool down
Skill 4-Granade Does 80-160 damage + moderated damage for few seconds.
Skill 5-Bigger Bullets Does 12damage /hit but drains 12 mana.

I think that it still needs a lot of work.The story is nothing special but decent and at least it's keep going.Terrain and maps are also okey but dialogues and triggers.....*Sigh*.

My suggestions:

-Fix the grammar and typos.I understand that your english may be bad beacause mine is too,but still.....it need some correction.Also....'Kalimtor' hurt my eyes.

-Tom deserve a new model.There are many awesome Rifleman models.Just take a look around. :)

-Fix the bugs.In mission with trolls the Dialogue sequance was launching over and over again for like 10-15 seconds.Same goes for horses.They didn't dissapear in cirle and every single time that i send horse into the cirle i get 200 gold and wood.In less than three minutes i had 10K of gold and wood.

-Give some longer dialogues.Make story had some bigger sense and details.It deserves it.I know that story is simple and that's alright with me but still.

-Don't change 'Bunker' attack.The orc burrow spears were looking better than rifleman bullets.

-If you add new units to barracks just change description.Something like...'Train War wolfs,etc".Same goes for Blacksmith.


That's all from me.Keep up the good work and update this map.Also keep working on this campaign! I want to see it approved. :)




Looks like once again i have to take my inquisitor hammer.In chapter three and four dialogues are messed up.The sequence is launching over and over again and i'm randomly telepoted from location to location.Also...in misison with necromancer i can't turn back.I kill him and then an invisible barrier appears and it's end of the game for me.

I haven't played all of it yet. So far the only thing wrog that I have found is that you don't use passive icon for Tom's rencarnation. The campaing itself is fun. I will rate it when i finish playing it.

chapter 2 is very hard if i defend but it's very easy if i'm afk (dont take the Ford). I took the small gold mine and i was afk in 40 mins LOL

chapter 4 Wand of summoning is good. I can buy 2 Wands and use them to clear map or go to Human camp without Tauren's help (move hero near door and summon wolves) :D It's not important but i saw some campaign they can block summoning to forbidden place :)
goblin said that "a angry necromancer" i think it's "an angry" :p

BUGGGG... chapter 6: I can not use Transport Goblin. If it's a port, i'll go to it and... nothing happens :goblin_jawdrop:
Other way i can use Snipe and run away and Snipe and run away... thousands of times to kill each enemy, maybe i'll finish this chapter in thousands of hour :goblin_boom:

(chapter 3) i found a secret way :razz: (image)

(chapter 4) it's ok, maybe thunder1 met a rare bug. I finished it.

(chapter 5) Streng and mana in goblin shop are useless with Tom. I think it's better with Talisman of Evasion, Ring of Regeneration or Health Stone, Ring of Protection + 1 (or 2), Periapt of Vitality, Gloves of Haste, Claws of Attack + 3
(cheaper cost or you can add more creeps in next version :grin: )

(chapter 5 - wolf cave) I know it's not logical to find Fountain of Health in the gas cave but can you place a Healing Ward as chapter 3 near Goblin shops and a Witch Doctor NPC (if necessary for logic).
A ship is disable after attacking Sludge minions in spider place. I don't know it's a bug or you make.

Other, can you add hotkey of skills and skipable videos although I have no problems when I use save/load.

circle I : nothing happens (no door is brocken) when i hit the "lock"

circle II: when i hit the "lock"... Immediatly this game (warcraft III FT) is closed :goblin_boom: without warning. (same Alt+F4 and Yes)

I'll vote after i finish last chapter.

The ship must become neutral cause I made that way , Picture with the worker is aint a bug , its a secret short cut that I made. Few skills will get nerfed with new update , and one will be changed. Btw if you are wondering when this update will be , maybe after the holydays.

I estimate to be done around new years , but not very sure , because I don't have much time on my hands , there is school , after school works , home work and that leaves me around 1h a day to create the map .I got time(more then few hours) only from Friday to sunday .

Hello!

Your campaign looks fine. But,I found a big BUG. In Murlocks Swamps I have the same problem that ga_xjnk had and you didnt answer him. Pls answer how to go through and I'll rate 5 stars.

This could have been a lot better.

lev1:
-hotkeys for Tom's spells are needed!
-Snipe changes places with Fast Shooter after loading the game
-I doubt the orcs would go so far just to see why some barrels exploded. There's not enough time to get away from the explosion site without the red orcs coming from behind to attack Tom
-blue units explode/die without the catapults actually hitting them
-blue AI has more than 5 Peasants at the mine
-why would the enemy catapults be surrounded by explosives that detonate on charge?
-illogical linearity. Doors are automatically destroyed upon finishing some parts of the quest (triggers) like: after the catapults exploded the north gate was also destroyed
-remove or place the blazer near the Mercenary Camp somewhere else as it and the disorganized crates can block trained troops
-after destroying the catapults the player can just wait for the blue AI to complete the level

lev2:
-cameras do not reset after the starting cinematic scene and after reaching the fort
-Kodos can digest/devour Tom... I suggest you make him above level 5 or give him Resistant Skin
-the Blacksmith does not specify which upgrades are for the wolves
-what ruins? Where did they find the tank?
-some troops do not change ownership. Later on, if the vanguard is not taken from the space of arrival, the blue units will stand idly behind and not change to brown. Horses will not give resources because of the same problem
-below 20 minutes there is almost no reprise. The player can barely build more or rebuild+repair towers
-the tank regenerates
-this level is very stressing. The enemy units are stronger than the player's, even with all upgrades researched. Below six minutes the red orcish AI has all 3 attack upgrades researched
-there was something about a beast coming. It never came or at least I don't know what it was supposed to be. Was it the Kodos?

-in the starting cinematic scene, the Footman says something but the text can't all be read for it lasts 2 to 3 seconds
-the minimap looks like it's a normal melee map. The black mask has been disabled
-again the camera remains up, after the blocked path scene
-troll scene: selection circles on the brown units, camera does not reset after the cinematic ends
-boy is this level boring...
-enemy Stasis Traps do not do anything. They are also visible
-the end stage cinematic scene: units that try to get up towards Tom on the ramp, disappear and when Tom goes to speak to the Witch Doctor the camera does not follow them

-how stupid is this? Tom isn't a hero but Rokhan is...
-heroes teleported to the tauren, some seconds after Centaur Sorcerer's death.... Why didn't they attack the centaurs themselves? They would have been no match for them anyways
-again linearity: door opening after a cinematic scene
-any selected unit remains selected during cinematic scenes and the camera does not reset after...
-I ran pass the lizards and the Thrall cinematic started. During it Rokhan was killed by the lizards and the game was lost
-Skip is also required for cut scenes

-what's the point of buying or hunting for items if they do not save for the following levels?
-some creatures sleep
-the ship can't be used again after Tom gets off. It stays neutral
-there are no Fountains of Health or at least runes or anything for healing other than the Healing Wards that cost 500 gold. If you expect somebody to bore for hours regenerating and completing this mission then...
-how do Bob and Jorge get from place to place without any problem, especially before Tom?
-I doubt Ghosts can eat or would need flesh
-oh yeah, by the way, Bob is two persons at least that's what his portrait and model show

level6:
-some units are red as Tom but cannot be controlled
-Tom's range has been reduced to 500 from 700
-how do you travel to the other base? Tried some stuff but didn't work. The north cave also does not transport anyone anywhere. I stopped playing at this point as not even going directly to the orc base helps. It actually makes the player lose
-what beacon? The Power Generator?
-your levels need more detailed descriptions of quests

Well, better luck and imagination on the next campaign. Three stars is quite more than deserved.

Murloc map Swamp has no action to enable end trigger and line of sight blockers are also blocking units at all the gates. One lever has no functions at all which I belive is the one supposed to be used to open two gates and the other one behind a gate crashes the game.

I don't know how this campaign got approved, it has so many bugs and errors, the only good thing was the terrain design:

Chapter 1: What is the point of killing every enemy an loot their stuff if the items are not going to transition from one stage to the other?

You should at least change the main character to a hero limited to a max level 3 or 4, or at least level up the unit so it doesn't get swallowed by beasts every single stage.

Chapter 2: 40 minutes is a lot and the resources given are not enough because a number of 30-50 horde enemies would appear every 2-3 minutes to destroy my base, I just put "whosyourdaddy" and went Afk to do other stuff while the mission timer progresses.

Chapter 3: Is really tedious coming back to the ally base to heal time and time again, I can't even train many units because of the scarce resources.

Chapter 4: The items that can be bought from the goblins are useless to the main character and rokhan, I don't get the point to buy stats to a main character that doesn't use them.

Chapter 5: I took the cave path and was so bad, good thing it was night time so I passed the neutral enemies never intending to fight, is there a way to heal yourself that isn't healing wards that are so expensive?

Chapter 6: I have no idea how to progress the level, what is the purpose of the zeppelin that doesn't transport my units, not even using the "whosyourdaddy" cheat was I able to win, because it doesn't let me get near to the city.

What bothers me the most is the main character, you should edit him a bit more, for being a elite rifleman it doesn't do much more than his regular counterparts.
