The Ruins of Eldara

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.

The Ruins of Eldara

I searched sunken ruins in wow, that went to Azshara, and then the tower of Eldara.

-2 goblin markets
-2 gob. labs,
-2 merc. camps

Creeps

-10 orange
-2 reds

Nothing wrong here, though nothing spectacular either. No complaints about items, but some of the minor stuff I mentioned on your other maps also applies here, but I don't feel like repeating all of it ;) Map approved. You may want to fix some...

AESTHETICS
-The map is well designed. You used a variety of doodads and they are placed wisely. Number of trees is just enough for the entire game.
-Terrain is simple but also great. There is a variety of tiles used.

BALANCE
For a 1v1 map like this, I can say that this is a pretty balanced map. You have done and placed resources on the right spot.

NEUTRAL BUILDINGS
Using of neutral buildings like tavern is a good choice for a melee map like this.

ITEM DROPS
You did well with item drops, also. But one thing is that, I guess, only smaller units in a group of hostile units should have no item drop. Level 2 and above units should drop at least a level 1 item. Just a suggestion, though.

FINAL VERDICT
APPROVAL with a rating of 3

Map approved.

You may want to fix some spelling errors in the map description ("night", "Azshara", "murlocs", "makruras" if not mistaken).

1- thanks

2- I wouldnt call it great, to me is standard, but thanks, this one was to practice a sunken ruins map.

3- the only interesting thing is that the players are front each other and not in corners, that cant be done in 96x96 because of the militia rush, so it has to be 128x96,

4- I do not follow, I am following the standard recipe 1-item, 1-power up always in the strongest creeps.
- I remember a video , a creep with 3 power ups L1 and a perma L4 or some sort, but 3 power ups made the player laugh saying something like " why to many tomes"
- Also I think in that way you limit the blademaster solo killing, if you have a merc. camp, gob market, gob lab, with level 15 creep:
5-5-3-2, and put a power up in the L3 unit, the blademaster can collect the tomes alone from the L3 unit, and do that very dangerous early,
thats why I try to put the items in the strongest units. Also I tend to consider more hp and skills than levels. The magnataur and the orge mauler L5 have same hp but magnataur has spell inmunity, to me magnataur is superior even both being L5 units.

5-perfect Fair, more score would be unfairly, I am still not finding the recipe for a 1v1 to make me proud. is a standard map with nothing wrong and nothing spectacular. Still I think this one is better than my barrens maps.
