awaiting their next unlucky victim, hopefully you wont be next.



Overview
A sage and his elemental companion travel to the lost home of their order
hoping to reclaim it from ruin and perhaps a more sinister invading force.

Simplistic and rough around the edges.
Yet tells a better story than anything I've done since.
In a month this map will be 7 years old, welp.

I like how the spells were actually simply edited to original spells renamed and given a few techs, still its nice its performance worked its way for the game.

Overall map can be approved.

I tried this map because I found out you are the creator of Dreamvale.
It is a nice small map with some very interesting elements. Everything is pretty well balanced : story, gameplay and environment have been worked on equally. Though I couldn't finish the map as a bug occurred. I was not able to deliver the last heart. Lucky the map was unprotected so the trigger told me the end of the story!
I am very happy to see that you are still active and producing map. Keep the good work!

I liked it.
The conversation was a bit fast, but since the messages lingered, I could finiish anyway.
Interesting storyline + good terrain (not as good as your other maps though).

What I liked most about the map was the rewards. Sue to the maps shortness, it allows for rapid hero growth, but you executed in a more fun way than usual experience or item rewards. The items you recieved was unique for the map, and useful in future situation. Also, the upgrading of his abilities was creative and fun.

The hero kit was actually useful aswell. Many maps just have almost seemingly random put together abilities, but those were used at their highest effecincy in different situations, such as mass enemies, single, strong and fast enemies.

I was inspiried to add touches (overall the rewards) from this to my own project.
