The Green Knight

This bundle is marked as high quality. It exceeds standards and is highly desirable.
This knight was once a powerful warrior. In death he expected release but he is forever sustained by the magical armor that encases his rotting, bloody corpse. Undaunted by his fate, he seeks to test so called chivalrous knights in single combat. So far, he's undefeated...

This model was created using the Blender, Adobe Substance Painter, and Retera Model Studio. Some geosets are from Warcraft 3: Reforged but the armor was modeled and rigged in Blender by Symphoneum. All textures were edited in GIMP and Adobe Substance Painter by Symphoneum. Animations are from Arthas and Muradin. Please credit Symphoneum if used in a project. Feel free to use the model as you see fit and have fun!

Oof I forgot this one With custom made and hand drawn meshes, and with very good execution; this model is without a doubt HIGH QUALITY.
Nay, it's actually too soft :p I think the helmet version would be proper and menacing.
That’s fair! I was worried that the facefx would go to waste if I didn’t expose the face but I think you’re right. I kept trying to get the blood to darken on the face but it would just go black with every filter. I’ll try to refine it a bit.

But what a beautiful model, this medieval style armor was perfect in Arthas... I just didn't test the textures, if they were properly correct with the HD engine standards. That's what we need, external standards and not just "playing" with the same standard parts of Wc3R.
External models with this level of finishes that make the reforged collection even richer, thank you.
Could you give info or credit to the extracted location/game, these geosets appear to be a Mount & Blade Bannerlord. Keep up the work!

PS. In the animations, the Bone of the weapon in "Stand Ready" was a little shaky, perhaps removing 80% of the movement frames for this Bone, help you to better align the weapon's position and smooth that movement more. Other animations can also have some point of the weapon out of axis correct, example of Stand 4, but this is just a look of preciousness... it doesn't interfere so much in the excellent final service. Gratified!!!

I think the version with the helmet was very well proposed, I would keep it. :peasant-cheers-back:
I modeled everything myself. Are you on the Retera Model Studio discord? I have WIP photos going back a month. Also some of them are posted on the contest page. I’m glad you like the model, hope you get some use from it!
No friend, lately I haven't had much time to do model projects and even chat in the Discord sections, when I have more time I will attend more.
Keep going, good job!

A really cool Model. i like it! gives me some Dark Soul vibes :)
As i looked into the Model i saw many ''cinematic - rp'ish'' Animations that i loved. There are too few Reforged or HQ Models with many Animations sadly ;(
Hmmh I was a bit sad about the fact that the Model only has - 1 - Spell ''Roar'' Animation.
Maybe you could give him a ''Attack Slam'' or ''Attack Walk Spin'' (For Bladestorm) or something like that :)
Very cool though ♥

Guess the attack animation can suffice for spell slam; In accordance with the rest of the reviews, I'm having this APPROVED.
Fair enough. Thanks for the approval! None of the animations were altered in any way from the base model so the fault lies in Arthas' model, sadly. I probably should go in and figure out what's up but it seems to be serviceable.

real cool model. i like it pretty much.... the amount of textures though, keep's me from actuely use it.... anything from above 10 (15 at upmost) is just not worth the effort, when there is so many other as cool model's that use less amount of textures.
Do you use a map folder when you save your map? It’s really easy to use lots of textures when you don’t have to use the import manager 😁

can you elaburate please?
One of the new ways to save a map in the editor is as a ‘folder’. It populates the various folders the world editor needs to operate your map in a folder that can be opened as a map in the editor. Basically you can just drop the textures into the main map folder and the mdx into the import folder. Should be a done deal! You’ll probably want to put one model in the traditional way just to make sure all the necessary folders are created.
