The Naga have risen and are now seeking revenge, with Illidan's Powers, they will surely succeed.

Just Updated it, to make it a little better, i can't make it better because then i would have to make it from scratch again.

I didn't like the terrain and the camera (way too much blizzard cliffs and bad tileset, the camera really needs some work... if you ever happen to meet Septimus, you can ask him about it ^^).

I liked the story, though...
A lacking cinematic, which still needs a lot of work, but well... I'll just approve it, otherwise nobody will be able to see the next part ;)

wow amazing helpfull post i must say anyways my review will come sooner than you know it:D

Review:
Sound/Special Effects: None so 0/5 i don't count the unit sounds
Terrain: well the terrain was okay with tile variation however the raise/lower function does exist making it look more beautiful and such. Note: why would there be a nelf statue if it is humans?? 2/5
Story: Well this was okay as far as i know 3/5 but you kinda needed the story behind the characters
Cinematic: the way you wrote was kinda shitty (no offense) but using Yeah lets hope so doesn't sound that well try using more old and more like royal words

My Review:
(+)Storyline- The cinematic is incredibly boring. It doesn't really have an attractive plot, and is very slow paced. Can you explain why the Naga want their revenge on the humans?
Example: The Naga lived on the land years ago, however the human had forced them back into the ocean and now the Naga want their revenge.
(+)Animation- There is unit animation in this cinematic. However, most units in your cinematic are standing still like a dummy.

Improvements to be needed

(-)Terrain- The Terrain seemed pretty bland. There was not very much detail and it did not look like a human ruined city.
(-)Music- There is no music in this cinematic. Just plain and boring Warcraft 3 Music.
(-)Camera- The camera movement was very horrible in this cinematic. It kept moving back and forward across the entire map.
(-)Sound/SFX- There is no Sound or Special Effects in this cinematic.
(-)Fog- There is no use of fog in this cinematic.
(-)Scripting/Triggering- Not very good. Your cinematic setup is missing some basic triggers and other elements.

Suggestions
You could use Tranquil's Model http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/king-53861/?prev=d=list&r=20&u=Tranquil

Maybe you can add a flashback or something to make the cinematic a little more interesting.

You could kill off those human units when those Naga Myrmidon surrounded the humans.

Its a night elf city and alright i must admit im no good in terraining^^

only at the end try to make only the option leave or restart :)

and when the sea turtle and the 3 naga attack the arch and the 3 footys make some humans die >:)

Well the cinimatic isn't so special, but it's good enough to be a prelude of a campaign, which I don't know if you'll make a campaign or just a single map.

Well I woudn't spend too much time at making the cinimatic, but rather at the playable map.

If you'd update this cinimatic, I'd advise to use more doodads to make it better looking (shrub atleast, and rocks).
 
Well i was planning to create a sequel(not a cinematic,but a playable one^^),it was 50-60% finished,but ive decided to make a cinematic sequel.
Edit:Im still going to update it one more time,its done but i will upload it tomorrow^^
Edit 2:Map has been updated for the last time!(or maybe not....^^)

Okie time to do my review, I guess?

First of all, the plot about nagas, humans, and night elves were absolutely fine.

(-)Terrain: I see some overused doodads on some place. 0/5
(-)Voices/sounds: I would've like to see some voices of it. 2/5 (counting war3 voices)
(-)Camera: Camera didn't make it nice really...2/5

(+)Plot: Love the plots. 4/5
(+)Typings: There were no errors on typing, I loved it. 5/5

So what I can see, I'll give this map an 2.55 estimated to 3, I highlly approve this. And from what I've can see this map can be better.
 
Im good at hunting gramming errors

1.the comma\period and the next word should have space between.
2. the 4/5 line with the "should unite" there is togheter, its together
3."You foul beasts will not enter Lordaeron" its better to change 'not' into never

things that need change
1.at the last camera, i can see the boundary
2.kill those annoying villagers :p
3.the first part, i think it needs battle :)

now its 4.5/5 for me

I think this is a very bad cinematic i see no ruins of any city the throne is just some hill with a chair on it and the camera is really really bad

To improve it reduce filezise (how did u manage to get it to 10mb woooow)

The way u are talking to me, is very "annoying",the most important thing in a cinematic is the story,not combat or etc. and the storyline is pretty "original" and "unknown",btw ur the only one complaining about the story,the mod said he really liked it,everyone else said that,but its your opinion,but i like to know why u find it boring!

Thats part of the story,i didnt show the battle btw the naga and the humans,because that memory is lost.At the beginning,is the "priestress" talking about the past,but its black,because she simply cant remember how it looked like.It could be because that the naga dont want anyone to remember it again,by using some ancient magic,but it could be something else,im not going to reveal anything^^
But just make the story a bit more more uhm smooth

I personally think that the cinematics i make are acceptable and "releasable",because they have a decent story.Thats the most important thing in a cinematic.

k i thougt that the story whas in an ruined human city xD

and becouse of that i thougt that the naga invaded that certain city or some XD

Edit:Well i just checked it,u couldve at least put it in "cinematic mode" and "letterbox mode on"+the camera is very bad,it goes through the walls the whole time.The way u made the walls,ground is bad.Cuz they were flashing the whole time and why did u use water under the ground?There was water coming out of nowhere-.-
I dont know......It wasnt very "special"

k that are just minor things and the water is becouse the halls are under tiny bits of water

Suggesting to the name its called (the flood) that kinda means water wave or destruction maybe but it means water in some way

And the camera's letterbox mode and stuff are very easy to fix

i fixed all stuf you mentioned i think camera's are not too great yet but they dont go trough walls anymore

Woo, really late to find this. Pretty nice map, a few tips...

- In the first few seconds, you can see the normal UI while the cinematic mode fades in
- The first line starts '1 hundred'. I'd advise you change that to either '100' or 'One hundred' for consistency's sake (yeah, pretty nitpicky, but I got distracted by it and that's a bad thing to happen on the first line)
- You need a space after your commas, like this. You did the same thing with exclamation marks (!). Punctuation can't replace the gaps between words
- 'The Naga rised rose in at Illidan's command...'
- The gate they close seems to only lead to a whole lot of trees. Maybe make it more open so it looks like it leads to a path?
- Why is there some raised land that the water increases in height to get over? And yet in other areas the same thing doesn't happen
- When the elite Naga guys (custom warrior models) which have the civilians surrounded, it seems weird that they only kill a few of them in total. Why would they kill any at all, and if they were going to kill any, why only kill a few when all the humans are just standing there peacefully? I could understand them killing one or two if the humans were being disruptive, but as it is it just seems random.

Other than that, it all looked pretty good. Hope this helps.

I watched the cinematic and it is acceptable for me i got only 3 points to suggest you for work:
(1):Add some Raise and Lower in you terrain that way the terrain will really looks BETTER. (Yeah ! <3 the Raise and Lower functions :) well, i go out===>[-]) :grin:
(2):KILL those DAMN Humans pleasse,All not only some :xxd:
I wanna show you once more the Screenshot that ModelTester attached.
I insist on that point,all the surrounded units must die,for that purpose,you can Explode or Kill them simply via Triggers after the first line units are killed via the Attack-Order of the Nage Myrmidons.
(3):Try to find a great music that feets the map and import it in you map,not a standard music made by Blizzard.
After that,i will rate it 4 if you improve these points.

lol i don't know why everyone wants me to kill all those prisoners, some of them will not be killed, instead they will be transformed into naga warriors.
The terrain is the ugliest terrain in the world, i agree, although this was my first cinematic and my first map to be released and thus i have improved a lot. Thx for testing:) +rep

Well, cinematic was good, but there are some tings what i would like to say so you could make improvments in your next cinematics.(Cause i guess you wont uptate it anymore :eekani:)

When the cinematic start next time with the introduction, maybe you could make memory flashback about what you talk. That would make first 30 sec more interesting.

About the terrian. You should make the woods bigger so they would look like in real size.

When you move the camera in the other location, you should make it with apply camera with 0 sec so it would seem like you change camera. Cause when it moves like now it seems that the world is so small.(Or maybe you wanted to look the movie place like this.)

When you end cinematic dont make it so sudenly, fade out, write thanks for watching, or something like that.:wink:

My rate is 5/10.
