67chrome: There is not enough freehand work here for me to approve this, the entire cloak looks like it is either recolored or has a solid color laid over it. I'd say making the face solid black doesn't count towards freehand work either, this skin falls very short of the 75% needed. Anyways, check out the links FrIkY provided for 2D tutorials for help on how to make this skin better, and work on it a lot more :)

iam a diablo 2 fan and i really like the idea this time :)

as i told you in the other thread of your kael skin submit the skin here first.
well its nothing against you, i just think it wont get a aproved status and you will get less hard critique in the texturing&surfacing area.

in my eyes you need to following things to do to get this skin approved:
- completely remake the skin, well that sounds hard but there is sooo much blur in it. i think it will take less time to reskin it then to try to fix it there. remaking a skin isnt that hard if you just put a transparent layer over the whole skin and draw on that layer.
- try to use less black parts. you can shade without using black parts. i think the burning tool messed you up. dont use use the burning tool for shading(exept for metal there it works quite good). try to manage it with a darker color or a lighter one :)
- include your own ideas. it really still looks like an acolyte. my you can change the cape that this looks disapears and try to include more attributes from the "dark wanderer"
- try to add more details. as i told you its very blurry, may you can pant with a smaller brush next time your you just resize the skin to 512x512 and paint there.
- try to use alpha, for example for the dagger

all in all every start is hard so dont take criques to hard. the most guys here just want to help. i think if you pracitse some tuturials everything will be fine. i hope my hints could help you and i am looking forward to see the next version of this skin :)

this model looks like its been colored on by colourpencils =.=
the bandage on eye (or whatever u call it) looks ugly. try to highlight the bandage more. it looks like its grwoing on the face =(
maybe add some holes onto the cape, i remember seeing some on diablo 2....

Colored pencils would look sketchy.

but the holes is a good idea... what do you mean by bandage, the cover around the mouth?
