The Bloodline IV

Episode 4 is here. If you haven't seen the rest of the series, I recommend you catch up.

Lina and Chase enter Valinor and find the third Binder who appears to be quite an... interesting person. They must convince him of his responsibility as a Binder before the Archbishop's crusade gets to him.

Credits shown at the end.

This episode involves a good mix of plot and action. There is some character building, specifically of the new Binder. The combat has become more dynamic, in my opinion.

Hmmm, this episode seemed shorter than the previous.

It's nice that you added some voices also in certain scenes. If you could increase their volume it would be good. (don't know if you can though).

The fight scene with the soldiers was nice except for one thing - at one point Lina is doing Ensnare on a footman...and keeps shooting arrows in him. . .I think she used at least 10 arrows while the footman all he is doing is standing still, on his feet in a net. Noticed she has some nice "evading" abilities. But idk. I mean at first she one-shots a footman at the beginning of the fight, than she shoots at least 10 arrows into an ensnared footman. . .if at least the footman had his shield up, it would have more sense.

I believe you take this series seriously enough. . .for me to say the following:
- the Thaeldrid character. . .just seems dull.
As I understand he is kinda like Darth Vader, the general of the entire army, but still under the orders of one guy. I mean Thaeldrid. . .atm he seems to be like a mindless zombie....when he dies (if he dies that is), it won't seem like someone just died, it would seem like a mere footman died. At least that's how I see it now. He doesn't seem to have any special powers or any special traits. You might have your reason to do so, maybe you just want him to be the kind of character which all he does is believe blindly in his "master".
Atm he is just. . .emotionless.

Overall nice episode :)

Seas =)

Dude - for me you created the best cinematic I've ever seen here - I like everything - the terrain - the units - the sound - the music - just everything!!

But at this version - I don't know, this version has somehow a feeling that this was a cinematic only finished to 80%. All others were really awesome - this is to but still somehow different.

You also mispelled "ridiculous" when they were on the second floor of the brothel. And speaking of second floor, it looks like they're on the first floor when you look out the window. Otherwise, great chapter as always. I really like the action sequences, except for that one footman who just blocked every shield poor Lina shot at him. You'd figure she would've come up with a new strategy faster.

*EDIT*

Also, the stars come out too late when she does the counter measure, he dies before the stars hit him. :<

I promised myself that I would post something for this.

I would very much like to know if you had fiddled around with the world editor before making the first Bloodline? If not then I must say you learned remarkably fast and did an outstanding job for your first map. Wel,, it's outstanding either way.

This is for all 4 Bloddlines:

+The story is Great
+The Terrain is Nice
+Music just makes it Epic, you did an excellent job picking music.
+Each Episode has it's own little cliffhanger, which makes people come back (brilliantly done I might add)
+The spells look very nice

Overall a 5/5 from me and a vote for approval.

Yes, I did indeed experiment with the WE quite a lot before making this series. I attempted to make a few games but none of them really made it to the end. I have seen the terrains posted on the forums, watched others' cinematics and read the reviews so I have a good idea of what looks good and what looks bad.

The Bloodline is the result of my studies.

Hello,

Really impressive, I totally loved the combat scene(s).

Although the duration is decreasing, I think this part could be better than the first one, even.

5/5, no question about that.
