Septimus how can I learn to create really maps?

I have been making maps off and on as a hobby for about 6 years now and i myself am not that greta at making maps. But what i suggest (which is what i did a lot) is to start off making tower defence maps. Make a simple lane for units to walk though and land for peope to make towers on. Add tower upgrading and some simple things. After you make a few and you think your betting work your way up making and adding new ideas you come up with to the maps. One day you can start making great maps but for now your pushing your skills past what then can be pushed to.

No offense. But in this case, it was terrible. I start mapping at year 2003 or 4 (Cannot remember) as a hobby and never release my work cause it was for fun. Infact, I probably make only about 2 maps at that time.

At year 2006, I start mapping again and yet the same. Make 1 map for fun again and the quality was poor, but never release it cause it was for my own desire.

February year 2008, I decided to make a really good playable map to be release at the public. Start reading tutorial and find whatever way it was necessary to make a good work and now I am at least capable to make a decent map.

It your case, you have been making map for about 3 years. Why your map making standard still remain at poor?

1) You never do research
2) You never read tutorial. Even if you do, I doubt you have ever try to understand it.
3) You keep on expect somebody to do it for you.

If you hate to keep on receive a negative comment about your map, it was time for you to shape up your work.

Not trying to brag or whatever it was. The truth is, I want to point out that you did not take any action to improve yourself.

You need to read tutorials & try to get feedback in cinematic before you submit a cinematic.
