Cult of the Maw

Entry for the Techtree Contest #16 - Faith
Warcraft 3 version 1.32 or later required.

To play as the Cult, chose Undead at 90% handicap.

How to play
The Cult does not upgrade its town center like other factions, nor does it have traditional unit upgrades for attack and armour. Instead, you must sacrifice certain units to the Great Devourer or a Maw. Supplicants are the most cost-effective way of doing so, so you'll want to make sure you have enough Maws to have a steady supply of them as they take a while to restock.

Anointers cannot be sacrificed, but they are the only way to create a new Maw. They can also build an altar and a shop and harvest lumber.

The Great Devourer and Maws are your main builders. They will send out a Supplicant to perform the construction rites, which kills the Supplicant. A Maw/Devourer has no Supplicants, they cannot build anything.

Cult structures must be constructed on blighted ground.

My first experience was like this:

Too confusing building mechanism, as some workers may build sth, then some buildings can build other things and at the start I also didnt know which building provides food for units (also the auto-gold-mining was very unusual and therefore confusing at the start). All in all, I lost to a computer (normal) pretty quickly, as he had an army of units and I had just a few.

Ill give it another try before I leave a rating.
