Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros

Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros is the legendary hammer of the Fire Lord.

I decided to make this weapon to exercise my modeling ability... my texture choosing ability is still in question...

Anyway, please give credits if you use it and whatnot.

Version 2.0
- Changed the size of the hammer head and handle to look more like the original.
- Changed textures on the handle to look more like the original.
- Added runes to the sides of the hammer head.
- Rewrapped basically everything to make it look better.

The main issue is that while some parts are very sharp and detailed, some leave a bit to desire, specially the spikes and the bland part of the handle. Eventhough, from the in-game view it already looks decent, so approved, but you're encouraged to keep improving it.
 
Not bad at all and it is good as it is right now.
A few pointers though.
- The head of the hammer could use an upscale. Reference: sulfuras
- The wrapping is so so at the moment. A lot of almost plain colors with gradients. The spikes fx. Where they are attached to the base try to make them a bit darker.
- The wrapping is also not very consistent. Probably not that noticeable in game, but you should still get rid of the blurryness which especially haunts the handle.

Overall a fine job.

On the texture of the handle.
If possible can you find a more fitting texture? The one you use is fine, but see if you can find one the resembles the original model better. I'm thinking perhaps some blood elf texture.

I had a play about with some of the Blood elf textures, but they all have gold trim on the outside, so I couldn't quite get it right. I'll experiment some more with it.

The plain textures, well I couldn't quite the colours right so I've used white/silver textures with colouring on them to try and fit, but it looks a bit meh. Better than anything I could find.

But it really works now. That new texture for the handle fit really nicely.

What is left is nitpicking and not necessary to point out.
A fine model.

Oh!
You need a death animation so it disappears when destroyed. I'm pretty sure it is required.

I ended up just surfing through the textures folder when it opened the blood mage and I noticed the chest piece which is all mystical golden trim and red and I was like "I HAVE FOUND PERFECTION!" lol.

would be cool if you can add alternate animation with fiery particle. since the weapon looks fiery themed.
