Su-35 Super Flanker

This is a model i made for my World Domination map. The keen eye will notice that the plane is missing its canards, which i chose to omnit. The Su-35 is the standard fighter of the Russian Federation, and is based on the Su-27 model which has been around since the 80's.

Some may complain about the lack of animations - personally i don't feel that an airplane should need more sequences than "stand" and "death". I also released a system for easily simulating airplane movement, you can find it here: Realistic Airplane System

Take off birth anim?

Just do it with triggers:

Set the fly height of [created airplane] to 0 with a rate of 0.

And then instantly afterwards:

Set the fly height of [created airplane] to [default fly height of trained airplane] with a rate of [default fly height of trained airplane]/3

This will make the airplane lift from the ground, and reach max height in 3 seconds.

but isnt that would be more awesome if you make the plane has some angle when It birth? well Just a Suggestion XD
 
Well, it is a bit hard to add without dictating how the model should be used. If you were to trigger the height change, the animation would only contain the airplane tilting backwards while still in the air, but that would look weird for people who want to use it as a normal unit, like the gyrocopter (although this is something i strongly disadvice). Overall it is problematic, since the birth animation is always played automatically when the model is spawned, so it could cause issues for people who want to use it in a flight simulator, or who doesn't want to add a lift-off sequence to it. Still, i appreciate all feedback!
 
Haha ok, Im thinking of adding alternate tag to it if thats the case, but the birth animation is somewhat uneeded XD

So add alternate tag to enable the Birth and No Alternate to Disable the birth anim

I am afraid that warcraft will always attempt to find a birth animation, and only does the distinction between anim tags if there are several sequences to make the distinction between. You may have noticed, for instance, that models who have an "alternate" set but not a "death alternate" sequence, will play the "death" sequence instead, rather than playing nothing. I am pretty sure it works both ways.

Impressive model! There are not so many high quality modern aircraft models, especially Russian ones, so I definetely like this one! There's only one thing I dislike: I recommend to create walk animations with some engine trails.

Very good model, Fingolfin. The shape of a fighter almost completely corresponds to the real. If you want, you can add the machine guns on the wings. Just make them in the shape of a cylinder and make the appropriate texture with a circle of black dots. Although such guns sets on Su very rarely, it will make your model more universal in the game) Attack animation of machine guns you can make as Marine attack.
