Features:


Race Changes:
  • Naval Units (Some maps)
  • Glyph Upgrades
  • Other modifications to keep up with current lore

New Races:
  • Burning Legion (Can be chosen when playing Undead)
  • Old God Minions (Can be chosen when playing Night Elf)
  • Dark Horde (Can be chosen when playing Orc)
  • Eastern Horde (Can be chosen when playing Human)

New Races cannot be chosen when food costs exceed 5. Therefore, enabling Random Heroes for the game disallows the choosing of alternate Races even for the AI. It is also recommended that you do not issue commands on starting units until the selection has shown up.

Neutral Units:
  • Ancient Vaults - Sells various Unique items and Artifacts
  • Arcane Library - Helps your Heroes become more powerful
  • Arcane Observatory - Allows you to reveal an area of the map and detect invisible units
  • Bank - Exchanges gold for lumber and vice versa
  • Fountain of Energy - Regenerates the health and mana of all non-mechanical units nearby
  • Merchant - Sells various magic items
  • Tavern - Allows you to resurrect Heroes instantly

    After Aliden Perenolde’s death, the Syndicate fell on hard times. Around the time of the Cataclysm, the Alliance and the Horde were busy fighting Twilight Cultists as well as each other. It was during this time that Aliden’s older sister, Beve, came out of hiding to rally the remaining stragglers from both the Syndicate and the allied Argus Wake. They made their way to the ruins of Alterac City and took it back from the Ogres, setting up their new base of operations in the process.

Just a tip:
-Test a Map with AI Editor (Melee of Course)
-Go to Warcraft III Properties
-Scroll Down until you see a new folder.
-open folder,inside you will see an AI file named "WorldEditTestGame.ai"
-open it with Notepad
-if you want your map a ai(because its melee)customize the code.(ex.unit ids,ability ids of your map,etc.)
-import it to your map
-PM me if im wrong

I've played only two SfA maps, but I have to say, these are great. Keep up the good work.

:grin: I never thought this one could be approved so fast. Regarding all of the maps, I had these stored in my laptop for a long time which is why I am able to upload them in quick succession. After the Theramore and Dalaran versions were approved, I decided to push through with the rest.

Some people had asked me for pictures but I really don't have time as of the moment. Schooling had just started in my country and the nearest vacation is still on October.

I'm glad some people still play "Melee" maps in Warcraft 3 such as mine. If you have found bugs up to the smallest typos or have suggestions, kindly post them here.

Dang. I wasted more than an hour finding a new preview image thinking the bug had something to do with it. Anyways, please tell me if the map is playable for you guys.

Great Map!
I am just asking, how come you have to pay for your first hero? In a regular warcraft map, you don't.
Also, why is there a shipyard when it is practically useless in this map?
Other then that I love the map.

I don't really know, but I'll check up on that. Then again, losing a few gold and lumber at the beginning wouldn't hurt.

That is because I only use one .w3o for all of my maps. All the edits and new objects I added are the same for all of my maps and I didn't bother to omit the naval units in maps where they can't really be built. So far, only Theramore Isle and Quel'Danas Isle accomodate naval units.

Loosing a few gold and lumber at the begining? Hero costs 425 gold and 100 lumber, thats big money at the begining, im playing it currently, and because of the tax i'll have to wait a while to get those resources. Fix it plz, its annoying.


And why you can't chop down trees?

Great map, i like it, but you should make the AI use the ships, not just look at my shiny ones. I also like the idea of having "elite" knights, i always wanted to have navy and elite knights like Admiral Proudmoore. Maybe you could add elite riflemen and/or elite mortar teams too? If you are following some kind of lore, then I just don't understand where Old Gods' servants got green dragons from?
I didn't find any bugs yet, and hope to not find any!
That's quite all i can remember from my first play. And of course, +rep!
