does it animate?

yep. Animating it to crawl like an octopus is hard. So, I made it jump. lol
It has Walk, Stand,and Death animations as I couldn't think of anything else. lol

lol whil;e jumping in the air? Yeah, I thought about it. or having him wave. and I thought of an awesome idea where he is all cute from the outside but his attack is he flips over and this ugly mouth of teeth takes a bite out of the enemy.

I have my own model - i'll test it out ^.^

ok, I can add shading, but my computer won't be connected evey now and then, so I'll have to do it later today.

Ok, I have given it shading.

Also, all the texture materials should have "Two-Sided" checked. For as what I can see now according to the wc3 model editor, the arms/tentacles has too many holes.

Plus the texture looks quite MS Paint-ish. The shading needs a better blending.
TDR made a color blending tutorial, so I would encourage you to take a look at it and learn from it.

Ok, I won't delete it. If it doesn't get approved, then I'll delete it. Anyway, glad you guys like it! I've been trying to make a list of models that I can make. And I tell ya, reference pics REALLY help when making a model.

I seriously think you should try to make many of the hives more well known faces.
Squiggy was a great start cus I doubt he has a single enemy.
Maybe you could do Pyrities dragon, General Frank's general... and if your feel REALLY nice... Grim_labour's pink penguin xD?

lol. I could, but those possible projects will be spaced out over time. I am currently creating a list of things from many games that I could make, and then finding great reference ppics to get the proportions accurate. I have one I am making now from the Mario series

1. Texture needs major work.
2. Not really useful at all.

2. Nice poly count and file size.

It's kinda hard to develope a texture for a boring gray octopus with a smily face. XD Other than that, I had absolutly nothing to do and this was the thing that was offered. XD Anyway, thanks for critique! =D

How about painting it simply light-blue and apply shading over the color?

Sadly, I haven't seen Werewulf's wolf model. I've heard of it but perhaps she can tell you?

lol actually, that octopus should be blue - but it's over 8 years old now and the blue slowly fades into grey :/

just like a real octopus. Trust me, I did my best to get him as much like an octopus as possible. And, in warcraft, not many will notice...

It was rejected because it was too basic. I kinda figured it would be rejected for that reason. :/ Not a big problem. It served it's purpose and the requestee got his request filled out.

I liked it - anyways, Grim will use it in his map and in mine, it's also implemented as final boss
