Space Combat

Pilot a spacecraft and dogfight your way to victory. 10 pilotable ships await, along with interesting combat and gameplay.

After quite the long while, I've decided to briefly revisit this map to take a break from my new, exciting project. Fixed in this version is the laser killing bug that happened 10-15 minutes in and some cruiser death weirdness.
I've also added 'power steering' so you don't have to spam click so much.

This map is now deprotected; (Use 'integrate WEU' option on newgen editor) feel free to do with it what you will but give credits to the original author, and perhaps let me know so I can see what you did with it.

Great game..still have room for improvement...add more features like.
Team Battle,
Free ships for dead players,
Platform that allow players to access more ships so that players will fight over that platform..
so on..

I made an update :eek:
v1.1.0:
-Fixed the lasers all stopping.
-Fixed some soundsets.
-Fixed the swarmers and obliberator's droid ships randomly flying into space.
-Hopefully, dead players can now select a new ship by clicking on their force's battlecruiser.

Fun map, I enjoyed playing it. Suggestions:

-Get rid of the "flying" sounds, I had to play this map sound turned off
-Add a zoom out option
-When you buy the smaller ship, camera should be locked on to it, and add an option (ability) to the unit "Unlock/Lock camera"
-You should limit the number of defense droids people can have, in the game one player had a lot of them, so when ever he engaged a battle, it was a real lagfest. You could limit them to like 8 droids
-You should really change the moving of the main ship same as the others, "sliding" its called. It's very irratating that it changes its direction every time it gets hit. Flying a straight line is nearly impossible (or atleast very irratating) task
-I only got as far as the second tier ships, but they seemed bit uneffective, the first tier ships appeared to be better :p

This game needs an ally command, as Mini-Me said, limit the Mini-ship things.
The first tier ships seem better than the second tier at times.
The last ship is very powerful, too powerful at times, once you get that you're pretty much God, people need to stand atleast a change against it, it should coast all 70 gold it coasts, and not return it.
Very good game, enjoyed it.

I though this map was alright but had a few stupid un ballences

The realy fast ship is just that way to fast when host doesnt have dr it makes game completly unplayable but when host pict slower ships then i could get shots off atleast

also i think on person should have the mother ship thing and it should have some cool battle ship attacks like broadsiding whitch cant hit smaller craft and like a prow gun whitch other players can pool to the person with mother ship and get better weapons.

Im sorry if you dont care for this post cause you wanted just a dog fighting game >< but maby some large ship to ship battles would be cool.

Over all still fun game to play. 3/5
