Soul Edge History:
Soul Edge was created by human hands.
At first it was just an ordinary sword, but after being bathed in blood and hatred countless times, the sword turned into a demonic weapon and gained a wicked soul called Inferno.
Those without strong wills are unable to escape the curse of its evil powers.
While it burns fiercely with the regret of lost souls, its blade shines with an icy gleam.

How to use:
- Item:
~ Just change the item model file to the Soul Edge Model.
------------------
- Attachment: Ability or trigger
Ability:
~ Copy and paste the Life Regeneration Aura in the spell section.
~ Set the target effect model file to my Soul Edge model, and target attachment to left or right hand.
~ Set spell target to only "SELF".
~ Set Life Regenerated to 0.
~ Give your unit the new ability.

Trigger:
~ Special effect - create effect on unit.
~ choose your unit and change the attachment point to "hand right" or "hand left"

soul calibur 2 and 3 are my faveriots beside err... I give up they my faveriots even though I dont care for nightmare and sigefried much... I like yunsung better lol.
hey how do you get milk shapes and how do you make models?
oh yeah how import and use icons?

Countless legends surround a sword known as Soul Edge. Some claim it was the ultimate weapon. Others refer to it as the "Sword of Heroes." …A phantom sword with immeasurable power of the spirits…the key to eternal youth…treasure without equal…a panacea to cure all illness… There are even those who consider it the "Sword of Salvation."

Although no one could ever be certain of the sword's whereabouts or true identity, various rumors and folklore spread across the world. In reality, Soul Edge was comprised of twin blades that fed on human souls.

In the latter half of the 16th century, a warrior on a divine mission for the ancient god of forge successfully shattered one of the evil blades. Tragically, shattering the sword produced the opposite effect of what was intended. The balance of power between the swords was destroyed, and the evil of the blades spiraled out of control; its malevolent energy diffused into the sky in a form of eerie light. The phenomenon, which later became known as the Evil Seed, scarred the world with its evil legacy.

The remaining sword possessed the body of a man who took the evil blade into his hands and embarked on a killing spree throughout Europe. Macabre accounts of merciless killings spread fear throughout the entire continent.

Yet the massacres ceased after three years. Four more years passed, and the horrors became a distant memory and people felt safe once again.

…No one knew.

Four years before, a spirit sword named Soul Calibur appeared from the East, as if to answer the call of the raging Soul Edge. No one witnessed the final battle to the death where Soul Edge was shattered. No one knew that the spirit sword was left behind in the vortex of evil to stop the demon sword's powers.

Most people were oblivious to the fact that the peace that followed was the result of this battle, and the spirit sword's existence remained a mystery.

Unfortunately, the peace was merely a façade; the evil blade began spreading its influence, quietly yet surely, throughout the world once again. People unwittingly transported the sword to every corner of the world in the form of metal shards. These pieces of Soul Edge still embodied evil powers. With Soul Calibur lost in the void, it was only a matter of time before the evil sword's dark powers infected the entire world.

The following tales of swords and souls are of those who pursued Soul Edge for their own convictions and reasons...

When i attach the model to a unit's right hand, it just floats above its right hand doing its stand animation, wat am i doing wrong?

that alternate thing does not work :evil: :evil: :evil: eg... im trying to figure out attachments for a lich so say and i set that thing to alternate and its still floating above his head (item animation) so how do i make it work alternat doesnot work.. :cry: :cry: :cry:

Very ugly model.

The animations aren't needed. It'd be easier to have seperate models for item and attachment.

The Texture is just a C%P job from a screenshot or something. You could have atleast made your own texture.

Also, the eye would look good animated.

You are using the item animation.
In the Object Editor, just change the "Art - Required Animation Names - Attachments" to "alternate" and the attachment should work

This model is both a item model and attachment model.
To use the attachment animation (stand alternate), open your object editor and find the unit you want to attach the model to.
Scroll down until you find the "Art - Required Animation Names - Attachments"
Add a string called "alternate" here.
Attach the sword to the unit, and the stand alternate animation is now showing.

It looks like a cool model, but it's not working for me, can you help me? I tried it as an ability, item, and an animation and it doesn't seem to work, it might be faulty, so can you help me out?

I will use it but it does not work. but i give it 5/5. but why doesnt it got any mushrooms? (stupid question) :p
Now it works! changed the skin to "Textures\" and then its name. try that everybody, it does not work for!! :D

For Some Unknone reason when i try to attach it to a unit all it does is spin around above his head i have done verything you have said AND MORE! yet it still does not wish to work can you help me?

You are using the item animation.
In the Object Editor, just change the "Art - Required Animation Names - Attachments" to "alternate" and the attachment should work :wink:

I did all that and I got soul edge to be attatched to a footman, but the footman's normal sword is still there. I can see the tip of it's blade sticking through soul edge's eye. Is there anyway to fix this?

Nevermind I figured it out. If used with a unit that's original model file was a paladin, it looks really real when attacking. :)
