Slug Tag v1.05

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
Rispetto Presents:

Slug Tag v1.04 Beta

Slugs:

Objective - Survive for three rounds, each round being a total of 10 minutes long.

Win- Survive for 10 minute long rounds, three times. Slugs are changed every round.

Lose- If you and all of your allies get killed by the Crushers.

Crushers:

Objective- Kill all of the slugs, every round. There are a total of three rounds.

Win- Kill every single slug. If you win, they are released but it counts as a victory.

Lose- Let all of the slugs survive for ten minutes.

Income:

Slugs- Gold is recieved by building and protecting Gold Farms. Numbers are given in the building extended tooltip. When the building is destroyed, you lose that income.

Crushers- Lumber is recieved by killing Slugs. For every one killl you make, you will recieve one lumber which can be used to purchase items and other helpful things.

Map Note:

This IS a beta map, and simply put, there WILL be bugs. I will be working on this map in time but for now I simply wanted to put it out into the public. It has been sitting in a folder on my desktop for months.

Sounds fun and the slug pic is just adorable! Awww! XD. I might play it and give you feedback when I come back from work. See ya!

- Edit : After some work done, my back was killing me and I thought of relaxing, playing your map. It's not exactly what I had it mind, but the idea is new, fresh and somewhat has the same potential as "Digger" by GreyArchon. The childish tone of that map was exactly what I needed to -turn that frown up-side-down-. Alas, your map still needs a lot of work,not just visually (not really feeling the terrain and aspect in general ; Models, skins need polishing) but the game-play can be drastically improved as well! -I have some excellent ability ideas for the Slugs, if you're interested P.M. me and I'll reply back as soon as possible! Rating 2/5 Voting Neutral (still waiting for updates)

Lets see...,hm... This game is all about surviving and runing when you are slug and you dont have units with attack,so you need to add some obstructing spells like stuns,knockback,slow or something like that to army of slugs.Tooltip for basic farm is wrong, it say build basic farm but real name of that building is "Straw Farm", upgrade tooltip for that building is also wrong.Terrain is empty, add much more doodads,Crushers can see area near cage when game starts and they can see in which whay slugs went,also they can entangle slugs from cage that is mega stupid!!!In description for Invisible Farm says: "Note: The crushers can buy items to detect these" i didnt see any items in this map??? :grin: For now i give this map 2.5\5:thumbs_up: continue with work man!
 
The item shops are located at the top right and bottom left.. the "Merchants".. they have the acoloyte skins. Thanks for the helpful comments I'll definately send you a PM for ability ideas. Like I said in the desc it's just something I wipped together for a friend. If you were to look at the Triggers in an un-optimized it actually contains a tutorial for basic triggering. Alas I decided to make a full map, and here it is. I'm not actually interested in working on this map at the present time. I'm looking for someone who is willing to put the time and effort into making it better. Hopefully someone wants to?

If you do, send me a PM. You need to have experience making maps and I would like proof.. only cause I don't want this map to die; I need someone who knows what he/she is doing.

Mass Purging Template Version 4.3
Needs Fix.

Reason for not approving:
I like this game, so I'm going to say needs fix.
The terrain is bad though.
Add environmental doodads.
Add more tiles throughout, and be sure to merge them nicely.
Maybe auto-click the slugs for each player on start, because it took me a second to realize, oh THATS my slug? :eek:
 
Honestly I don't even know if I have the unprotected version anymore.
If you like, I can send you a copy if I mange to find it? You seem more interested in the map more than I do now (I originally intended it to be a trigger tutorial map for a friend) :S
However, I started this back when I first began designing maps. I must say.. the triggering is down-right horrible (so much for a tutorial LOL).
Honestly, if I wanted to make a good version, I'd re-build it from the ground up, which I may just do.
If I do, I'll probably delete this map and upload the new one.
