Actually made on Kam's request, but it didn't really turn out to be exactly what he had imagined since I worked on it too fast, and I am too frustrated working on a model like his (rigging was hell). So there it goes.

It's pretty much open source, change it to whatever. Also includes a teamcolored missile, as this is supposed to be a ranged unit. Teal color in the image is also team color.

That's a rather specific choice for a teamcolor. I mean, it's not covering the whole thing, so it looks like he glitches out or whatever. Did you stop modelling it halfway through?

I like everything beheath the glowing section though. The Sludge looks cartoony and scary, just as he should. He is more organic then slimy, but that's a good way of reimagining him.

Maybe you could try experementing with modulate filtration type and geoset animations\tc textures underneath the skin textures. Millions of ways to to TC and give this guy a slimy feel, if that's your goal here.

What I really like about this model is that it's A) a creative take on the "ooze" category, and B) extremely Warcraft-y; that eye & mouth just sell it.

The TC goo is rather innovative, though I wonder how it would actually look (good?) in-game.

My only other gripe would be that the Attack anim was... misleading. He shrinks into himself, tucks his head down & then spits throws lobs... Nothing. Back to form. Whuzzat?

If you set up object editor fields properly, it will kinda look like the blob (a ranged projectile) separates from his oozy body, so that was the idea. So this pretty much only works for ranged units.

I couldn't see that, but to be fair I only tested in the Viewer, so I'll take your word for it. In that case, I give this model 3 Golden Bananas+/Shigeru Miyamoto!
