SimpleHeroGlow_Reforged (Model)

Isn't there already one in the game's files you can attach to your map? SharedFX/HeroGlow, or something like that. But I'm pretty sure it is that directory. Just make an ability holder for the model, like the Blood Mage's Sphere, and like what you wrote in the description, attaching the model to the unit's "origin" part. I actually use this method when making "demi-hero" units.

Yeah, this is redundant. In the game files there is already "sharedfx\hero_glow\hero_glow.pkb" which is the hero glow.
any idea how to get it to match player colour? i can get it to work by using sharedfx\hero_glow\hero_glow.pkb on blood mage's sphere ability, but it will only show as red glow regardless of player colour

Hmm, I don't know what went wrong with yours, but follow the changes below. Still use the Sphere ability from the Human race category.

Art - Missile Arc 0.000
Art - Missile Art None
Art - Missile Speed 0
Art - Target sharedfx\hero_glow\hero_glow
Art - Target Attachment Point 1 origin
Art - Target Attachment Point 2 <leave it blank>
Art - Target Attachment Point 3 <leave it blank>
Art - Target Attachments 0
Stats - Casting Cooldown 0.000
Stats - Duration - Hero 0.000
Stats - Duration - Normal 0.000
Stats - Race Other
Text - Name TC Glow <anything you like, really>

If that somehow fails, then I think it has something to do with the update recently, or I don't know.

If I recall correctly, you should base a hero glow ability on "Tornado (Slow Aura)" or "Life/Mana Regeneration Aura (Neutral)".
The regeneration abilities always have the annoying fountain sound which can't be gotten rid of, so use Tornado Slow Aura, probably.

There is a use for the attachment, with a tweak. Bigger Heroes, such as a dragon (at model size 1.0), look odd with a small glow. My issue is the scaling. Can this effect be scaled up to say 200% / 300%? I tried using Retera's model studio to do it without success. Anyone who could chime in on this would be appreciated.
