The blade is way too wide, it doesn't look right. Make it a bit thinner.

This is nothing special, we already have tons of simple short swords of pretty much the same style, but I guess somebody who needs lots of them might want this.

To actually look like a Short Sword, you're going to need to make the blade a bit shorter, though. Only slightly; an X-scaling of 0.9x should be enough to do it.

Yeah, not meant to be anything special, just something to vary the choice here.
That and I was a little bored.

For some reason this sword reminds me a lot of the one from Thief 1. Looks pretty good, but as TLI-Inferno said, Hive is overwhelming with these. They are good for practice though

Imo. The handle looks too small, like it is going to break in first swing since the metal that the blade is Made of has some weight :3
You can just make the handle larger.

Ginufe is right, the handle at this state is thin. Do something about it.

It looks better now that you have made the blade less ridiculously thick. You may also want to make it slightly shorter, only slightly, because right now it doesn't at all look like a "short" sword.
