Simple Model Viewer

warning: This map was only tested on 1.31, it might not work on later versions (Reforge).

Description
Simple Model Viewer is a Warcraft 3 map that allows one to view the 'mdx'/'mdl' game files. There are controls for selecting which model to view, changing the model's animations and sub-animations, moving, rotating and scaling the model.

Tips
You can view custom model files by importing them with a MPQ editor to the map and adding an entry to the 'model-list.fdf' file.
Precise positioning of the game camera can be done by clicking on the terrain with the middle mouse button and dragging (built-in game behavior).

Special Thanks
Big Thank You to Tasyen for his extensive research and documentation on the frame natives and the fdf format, without which this map would not have been possible.
Blizzard for making all their models.

While this was intended to be released as a tool map, it would definitely fit in here as well as a powerful model viewer. There may be some overlapping functionalities with the previously approved Importless Model Viewer v1.2.2b, which was certainly unforeseen.

What distinguishes this from the resource above is the use of UI natives in making certain fields easy to manipulate, such as animation, animation time scale, rotation of axes, and more. The way custom models are added to the Model Viewer requires a bit of knowledge of ".fdf", which makes it a bit more difficult to use imported models compared to the above.

Due to the Spell Submission Rules, a listing of the API, external library requirements and importing instructions is required.

Set to Awaiting Update.
