Introduction

This is a Naruto-themed map, although it doesn't have a single character from the anime/manga. This is a hero arena, in which each player makes a choice between the 5 Great Shinobi Nations, and battles each other to the death.

Features

- Five different Shinobi to choose from -

Basic Skills

[R]

Strike - executes a frontal slash with a kunai, dealing 1 damage;

Shoot - hurls a linear shuriken missile which deals 1 damage on impact;

Jump - jumps in the air and continues moving in the direction you were moving; another jump can be executed in mid-air; while in the air, you can do everything as if you were on the ground, other than changing direction of your movement by right-clicking; however, falling on the ground will interrupt some actions;

Substitution - becomes unable to move for 1 second; after that time, or if you got hit sooner, you become invisible and leave a substitution behind; while invisible, you are invulnerable, but most actions other than movement will break invisibility;

Each nation has 3 Ninjutsu of increasing level of power. These are:

Fire Release: Fireball
Fire Release: Fire Barrage
Fire Release: Dragon Flame

Hidden Sand Village:
Wind Release: Cutter
Wind Release: Flow
Wind Release: Whirlwind

Hidden Cloud Village:
Lightning Release: Lightning Blade
Lightning Release: Lightning Orb
Lightning Release: Thunderbolt

Hidden Rock Village:
Earth Release: Rock Pillar
Earth Release: Stone Shield
Earth Release: Great Erosion

Hidden Mist Village:

Combat

[R]
Each character (Shinobi) has only 5 health, so each and every hit counts. Understanding how your and your opponents' abilities work is the key to winning here. Catching enemy off guard with surprise attacks and tactics is crucial. Every obvious attack can be dodged without much effort, so concealing your true intension is of great use.

First, let's start off with the game's terrain. This really makes the game pretty unique in my opinion. 5 ninjas to choose from, few but indeed worthwhile to use each of them. Though, just a suggestion. When choosing your hero, it would be suggested if you are automatically select the unit then apply the camera on it's position so you can easily have control of it instead after choosing your character, you would have to waste some time finding your character in the map. The game could also have more stages insteaad of Valley of the End and to also raise up a point, the game could lag and be crowded if there are 12 players in a small stage. You should add more stages varying on stage sizes and etc.

super cool..! I will try it now..

Review
Good:
This is a well-done map, I like the combat style, step on water effect is also cool.


Bad:
BGM is not fitting the game, The environment(arena) is too plain and simple


Suggestion:
Give custom sound effect on each spell cast like battle stadium DON, also use different BGM because the current one is not fitting the gameplay, hope you could make another Hero/shinobi, and make several arena is cool also
 
I would really like to lift this map up to a 5/5 rating, if possible to DC afterwards :)

I appreciate all suggestions and constructive criticism :)

Anyway, there is another area of the map (Training Grounds) designed for 5-12 players. The map automatically decides which area will you play in.
I will try to do the thing with the camera :)
Terrain will also be improved :)
Will try to work something out for the sound effects, but only if I can find the fitting ones, since I don't wanna spoil anything :/

To be honest, this is the only anime map that catches my attention.
Its different from other anime maps that i think, usually, lacks imagination and skills of the creators.
But this map is pretty dope, nicely polished.
I agree with above suggestion, the arena is too plain.
Also would be nice if you could add Ai.

Just use the Heroic Victory music and make the volume from 127 to 0

This is an awesome map. Though I haven't played it on multiplayer.
Looks nice, simple and well made.
Everything seems to be working smoothly.

Not easy, but perhaps you could try coding for a simple AI?

And as for the music, I believe Hell_Master already gave you the answer in the other thread. It should work.

As said before the walk on water feature is good, nice jump system you made(I assume it's made in vjass), the characters have smooth attacks and the models are well chosen:)

Some terrain criticism now: You might wanna hide the map's edges better(at the river part I can literally see bits of the edge), the villages are terrained acceptable. The fog is a tad strong but it's ok. Although the terrain is flat I accept it's aspect. Well done!

hi there, awesome map. just want to inform you some credit list of the resources that you use:

- all shinobi model meshes for each village were geomerged and animated by shin-orojin.
- anime trees, animeish tileset (grass and stones) are created by me. (andreariona)
- hokage building is made by (probably) paradise.engineering
