Serpent Knight

This bundle is marked as high quality. It exceeds standards and is highly desirable.
Originally a rework of my older lizardman juggernaut model, this is a quite ambiguous reptilian heavy polearm guy that can be reimagined as many things I suppose. He can even pass as a draenei if you try really hard

He has a funny hook animation that I felt like making just because why not

Use the model as you will, just send me a note if you do (I want to know)

Update 01.10.2018: Added hero glow form, added ground slam anim, minor adjustments

General Frank
Works in-game, performs appropriately and is a good addition to the model section.

why is it every time you breathe another fairy gets it's wings???

Nearly everything about this model is so incredibly perfect & fitting as to bring such joy to my heart... Joy matched only by the sadness of realizing I have no plans/time to make a Lizardman race. :< :< :<

I love it, man. I love it.

@Gluma re: Hero-izing... I have noticed that nearly none of the extant Hero models feature faceless characters; even though many wear masks or helmets or blindfolds, they all have a good deal of their face revealed. I have pondered this, and I think it may have something to do with how the face really manifests the 'character' of a hero, humanizing them & making them relatable. Units (who are made en masse & less in need of 'connecting to the player') are not always under such strictures.

I'm not saying 100% no heroes can have full-face-masks, but... Just pointing out that 0% of them do, and that might be important. :<

Yeah, I wouldn't use this model as a hero. I would probably use it as the equivalent of an abomination/tauren for a serpentine race, or as am boss/mini-boss in an RPG. However, using it as a hero is not out of the question, it just wouldn't really be the best way to fit this model into a map, in my opinion.

Still, this model is amazing!! 5/5 :wgrin:

I would too, except Gluma already made that in the form of the Lizardman Juggernaut. :<

Something like this don't need to be a hero: that's what hero glow attachments be for!

For my Warhammer project, this gives me high hopes for a complete lizardman race. This could potentially be a Saurus frontline or Temple Guard.

Well it's not just Hero Glow(s; Chest, Origin & Weapon), but replacing Decay Flesh/Bones animations with Dissipate animations (or simply adding them in; both can exist on a model, as shown by @Direfury)

Previeous model is exactly a high-end unit for a lizardman army. A brutish greatsword infantry is what that is.

While this model reminds me more of a badass heavy-armored (for a tribesman) executioner, whose only purpose is either to kill things or to keep them safe (i.e. Guard). Or even a gladiator of some sort. The Elite in any way.

A heroic version in such case would be some kind of an even more armored high warlord with a (?) huge axe.
Perhaps with a cape or something else that could stick out of the hero's spine. (A flag, a set of spikes, an actual lizard-like spine, etc)

Capes are a hero thing, right?

Seeing your models makes me want to make an epic lizardman race but then I remember that I'm terrible at everything except existing.

so good just feel like it's missing that kind of psychotic undead affect for it to have that cone face and wep.

All hail Gluma, the Lizardmaker! I'm making a hero-survival map for fun using model's authors as the main characters (on a model they've made). You're the green lizard warrior you've uploaded recently :p (awesome model by the way). Hive's coders will be the bosses, so if I ever upload this prepare to beat Mag and Bribe haha

Fun idea! If you need any special ability anims, feel free to tell me. That model lacks any decent ones anyway

I really love this. Very intimidating, but cute at the same time, and extremely useful. I think you have done an excellent job. vwv
