Scythe Girl Night Elf

This bundle is marked as lacking. It fails to meet the standard requirements and may only have minor use.
I was on a Discord server where some guys were brainstorming ideas about some future RTS that they wanted to make. It was pretty late at night and I was kind of just messing around, but to try to give them an example of how things can be prototyped on Warcraft III, I fired up Retera Model Studio and made this goofy model for fun based on some stuff that they said in their channel.

I have no idea how you will use it or what to do with it, but it is a good sample model of how you can do the animation blending in Retera Model Studio, I guess, so I figured I might as well upload it.

I am tagging it as open source. Feel free to modify however you want! It's just a bit of fun. Maybe you could retexture the feet to be purple. Just have fun.

Edit: revised to have purple feet, a different flag logo, and her scythe was moved up so it would not clip the ground

Unit portrait is broken in-game. There are also minor issues detected by Sanity Test. You might want to fix them. ;)

Even though Blademaster anims are so overused it's essentially a meme at this point, can I just say... Heck yeah? I actually really like this simple little model. A Night Elven "Scythe Warrioress" is kinda cool.

This may sound like criticism (and I don't mean to offend) but I feel that both the Blademaster and Paladin bone animations are overused.
Either make other bone animations or have someone else help you with it.
You know not to whom you speak. ; )

I just want to point out how redundant the Blademaster bone animations are. Modders like Direfury set a perfect example of making new bone animations, so Retera should talk to him and make new animations and improve on the model.

I just want to point out you missed the entire reason why the model is the way it is by skipping the description.

I pointed it out too. But I've known Retera personally for a while, and the thing is, Retera's not the guy for whom that kind of stuff matters. He's already revolutionized Wc3 3d modeling with his RMS tool, and is on his way to do more than that with his Warsmash project. He has no real reason to care about coming up with new/custom animations; his program already manipulates animations in a way no 3rd-party program has in decades. He's a guy who makes whatever random thing pops into his head, and it just doesn't matter.

There are plenty of modelers for whom that kinda stuff is fair constructive critique; believe me, I'm the first to call that out when I see it. But Retera needs nor wants any improvement on that front. He's a very different kind of modeler, and in this case it's just fine. : )

But I wonder, did you guys spend more time messaging back and forth about this model than the time I spent making it?

Edit:
Thanks for the epic long-winded defense of my laziness, though. Not sure if I deserve it.
