"The only good undead is a dead undead."

The fanatical paladins of Scarlet Crusader harbor no love for any inhuman race, and will smite those who stand in their way.

My first skin for the Hive, was bored so I thought trying out texturing to kill some time as well as learning more. And yes, this skin was heavily inspired by CloudWolf's Scarlet Crusader but rest assure, this texture is completely free-hand(Save for the Scarlet Crusader emblem and the face).

The page's textures shown here are red, because the model I'm using has the page's texture swapped, using the cape's texture instead, so don't worry about it, it should be fine when you use the original Arthas model

Other resources shown in preview:
CrossbowFootman by Wandering Soul
Scarlet Crusader by CloudWolf
Optimized models by Ujimasa Hojo

Scarlet Crusader (Texture)

I might write a more in depth review later but to keep it short I'll just say 1) I am really impressed, this looks really good for a first skin and 2) Shading, so do have some good shading details around individual parts but overall the skin looks quite flat so I'd recommend adding some more dynamic shading shadows that cross over parts of the armour to represent larger shadows being cast.

However, that said I really like the style it's quite cartoony and I think I'll need to use this skin in the future :)

Thanks! These words really mean a lot to me :)

And yes I agree that the skin does look a little flat, I worried that if I use dynamic shading it might have ruin it, maybe I was just worrying for nothing 🤣
