very nice model blinkboy , i like the helm :lol:

edit: the only thing i have a problem with is the skin is a tad bit to dark, in game its hard to see at all. but that can be fixed easily ^_^
 
Looks good :)

Suggestion: Give it the demon hunters death animation, then it would look like the samurai in Age of Empires II

And remove another of the sheathed sword handles, because he is already using one blade.

I thought they used that to scare their enemies
True, Mempo didn't offer much protection, but it scared the enemies.

OH damn, im glad to see a real samurai... ppl think that samurai is a soft clothed guy with katana and hooray im soo fast and cut enemies...
Isnt very high resoluted... Work on it more please...

Btw, why do ppl always use the Fucking blademaster as base model. The animations are UGLY!. Dont do it!

Face protectors actually offered a decent amount of protection and were used to project the image to the enemy that a demon was fighting amongst them.

danhell: (my favorite word ahead!) It depends. When not in battle, the Samurai wore a kimono, and armor was only used in battle. A samurai fighting in a kimono means that he is fighting for himself (his honor), not his clan... Etc.

A good idea since all Samurais so far has been heroes mainly, but the anims needs fixing, also, his head is fleeting. Else its all good.
 
I just got back 3dsmax 5, so what kind of anims you guys would like (custom made)?

explain, because I will keep some of this model's actual anims, and yes I got it in .max for 3dsmax so I won't be able to transfer wc3 anims correctly.

and you know the head fleeting was intentioned for lowing polies, ppl won't notice because they can't roll camera to the point they can see it.

very nice does any1 know any other sites that have samurai models or ninja models? cuz this is the only samurai i can find on hive...would help alot ty

how is called the sitting animation?i want to make a meditation spell for my map and I don't know how is called that animation :|
btw this model is pretty good,I will use it in my map and give you credits of course :D

It doesn't work =(

Whenever I try to edit it a window opens that says "File extension textures/samurai" does not exist and then doesn't allow my to open it. Also when looking at it in the warcraft viewer it had no textures. Please assist.

Hmm, its quite decent... except one thing... Your samurai is bouncy... or is it just me?
E.G. when he sits, and right before the animation ends, he floats up a bit. Also with some other animations.

You think you can fix that?
