shiiK: Shading, a lot of it, is what this needs. A spark of colour wouldn't be bad either. I suggest you use the texturing & Surfacing board to get some feedback on your skins. You could also read some of our tutorials in the 2D Art Tutorials board. Furthermore, your goal should not be to get the skin approved, but to make a great skin while having fun doing so. Until they are great, post your work in the Texturing & Surfacing board, that's where they belong.

Hmm... Well, this needs quite a lot of shading, and some more highlights too. You should also get rid of those thick black lines. The skin has potential! Just work some more on it, and you'll be there.
