Protect the Village

The fight takes place with the Zerg race that has attacked the world.
The goal of the game is to defend two buildings: Library and Cathedral in 30 min.
Additionally - in hard game mode, besides the defense of buildings, all Zerg Spawning Pools must be destroyed, game time in this mode is 40min.

The game is for 4 players. Regardless of the number of players in the game, there are always 4 heroes.
Reviving is fast, but cost several dozen of gold and low level of mana after rebirth.
All heroes can attack ground and air targets.

Players receive gold depending on the damage done to the dying enemy zerg unit.

All Zerg units comes from Spawning Pools (4 to 6 buildings). They throw out the eggs from which the zergs hatch.

As your hero's items becomes more powerfull - zerg units will be stronger, and the income from kills will be lower.

For game version 1.31 or newer.

I would instantly approve this if it were not for the normal Warcraft III spells.

  1. Claws and Sword cost the same and give the same damage but the sword also gives Critical Strike.
  2. Mutalisks should shoot glaives which could bounce later on like that of the huntress.
  3. Maybe make bosses have more interesting things to do, spells and all. I mean, they are the same always.
  4. Can't call more than 4 marksmen at a time (per player) and they all appear near the cathedral?
  5. You could call the red hydralisk Hunter Killer.
  6. No more hero progression after level 10 and there's almost a quarter of the game left.
  7. Firebolt needs more mana than Storm Bolt and deals less damage for the same stun time. The cooldown is also bigger.
  8. Who is Kain in StarCraft :p?
  9. Maybe Nydus Worm/Canal instead of Spawning Pool?

You right, I rised Sword price to 320gold.

changed missile from Abilities\Weapons\FireBallMissile\FireBallMissile.mdl to
Abilities\Weapons\SentinelMissile\SentinelMissile.mdl
(they already had bounce)

They have 3 active spells and 1 passive(aura).

For 2 tandems max 10 level will be achieved after about 25min (after 75th wave).
Two heroes defend Library and other two - Cathedral.
If you play with one hero- 10th level will be to fast. (no global expirience distribution)

Well, it's from StarCraft: Hunter Killer (StarCraft)
They are Hydralisk hero units: Hydralisk (StarCraft)
Demons in StarCraft :D?
These are transporting units while Spawning Pools create eggs.
Well, actually it's the Hatcheries (and their upgrades: Lair and Hive) that make the larvae which can be turned into eggs to spawn zerg units. Spawning Pools are required so that the larvae can mutate into Zerglings.

While I know that you took care of this, I have some imput as a tester (not a reviewer):
1. Map difficulty seems to much. Like, for example, there are enemies that can attack while buried, but the item for seeing invisibles takes a while to craft.
2. Heros problem. At least for me most heros seemed weak at best and terrible at worst. maybe we were lacking a healer in our team...
3. no QWER buttons
4. you can attack allies.

I think these issues must be adressed

Heroes:

  • Roar: Gives friendly nearby units percent bonus to damage for 10sec
  • Strike: Hero hits enemy with a paw, deals damage, mini stuns and knockback target.
  • Endurance Aura: Increases nearby friendly units' movement speed and attack rate.
  • Clap: Slams the ground, dealing 350dmg in 350aoe (slowing their movement and attack rate)

  • Cripple: Reduces movement speed, attack rate and damage of a target enemy unit.
  • Ensnare: Causes a target enemy unit to be bound to the ground so that it cannot move.Air units that are ensnared can be attacked as though they were land units. Deals damage upon impact.
  • Unholy Aura: Increases nearby friendly units' movement speed and life regeneration rate.
  • Frenzy: Increases Slayer's attack rate and movement speed.

  • Lightning-Sleep: Creates a lightning bolt that deals damage and right after puts a target to sleep for 10 seconds.
  • Pact: Transfers allied target's life to the Queen to heal her. May kill target unit.
  • Vampiric Aura: Nearby friendly melee units gain percent of their attack damage when they hit enemy units.
  • Attraction: Purges enemy, then after 2sec attracts target near the Queen. When target is close enough deals 250 damage.

Map difficulty seems to much
To be honest I didnt test in hard mode in multiplayer, it may need balancing. Yes, some zerg units will burrow when wounded (zergling, hydralisk, hunter killer) but they won't if player can see invisible. Lurker needs burrow to be able to attack. Item dust of apperance costs 100 gold - not very expensive - will reveal burrowed.
Heros problem
armor/damage dependencies maybe?, Blood Mage as a Intelligence hero for example (magic attack/light armor) will be more vulnerable for piercing attacks, so he won't be happy to fight against hydralisks. Also "regeneration potion item" may help at first waves.

well, yes, but for example you can wake up your sleeping ally by attacking.
