Project 154 - Operation Sandstorm

The marine does have a skin of which I didn't even import. Gotta be some strange glitch or something, but it saved me the trouble. Anyway, credits for that one goes to Tamura

You and your team has been assigned to investigate an odd set off of a bomb, in the middle of nowhere in sector B-5. The blast let out a radiation, so with your new anti-radiation suits on, you're off to investigate the mysterious explosion.

This map is for 6 players, 1 of each class like ranger, corpsman, pathfinder, and so on.
The game opens with a cinematic with an explosion. Gotta love that... Anyway, the beginning will be slow, and you wont find your way.

Type -ping to show you where to go.

Changelog:
0.5 - After testing it numerous times, I fixed the glitches as it went on... Y'know, the usual stuff. Also added a path of which you have to go in order to get to the blastzone. takes time to get there, but it's not that much time compared to when you have to get back! Hehehe...
0.7 - Made it harder. It was just too easy <_<
0.9 - It should be pretty much done now, I mopped the terrain up, added a -ping command to show locations of where you need to go, and... Yeah, I want anyone who wants to play this and gimme some feedback, I need to know what to improve.

This is my first serious map. The ''eternal conflict'' map was a test project to see how far I could go, and it didn't go that far... This map is simple, with easy-task triggers and that stuff but I hope it can be fun gameplay.

I'll add abilities to each and every soldier class in the 1.0 version, hopefully togheter with some better changes recieved from feedback and stuff.

Intruiging, I shall edit this post after testing with a full review on the map.

Edit: woops got myself killed pretty much at the start :/

Well I guess I'll have to delay the review until I can complete the map, you should allow it to be balanced and fair with under 6 players as well eg. it's just as easy/hard with 6 players as it is with 1 player. that long walk at the start was also rather boring, could you liven it up a bit plz too?

Yeah, I'm working on how to improve the long walk in the beginning, but I need suggestions. Since the sector should be clean of hostile and friendly life, I can't do much but add wildlife to meet on your way. Suggestions?

Yeah, if you're going alone you're dead. You should go 4-6 players or something like that, alone just wont cut it. It's not meant to be single-player'd <.<

You could add a small story for it, like a battle-robot that has turned against you, like in Terminator?
Or you could add a lil group of "rebells" or Terrorist's who have found a way into the sector and attack thye player? Also this can be a quest, find out how the terrorist's got in, and maybe plant a bomb in a tunnel?

Bad with triggers?

You're bad with triggers? Well i could look over the triggers if you want. Fixing small errors ETC. Also i would add some custom music and sound effects for cinematics etc. I got some pretty cool stuff that i can use ^^:thumbs_up:

And i do also have a friend and clan that's awezome with Map triggering :D!

I appreciate your offer and help, PointlessFight, but I don't think I'll be very active about other people tinkering with my map.
Not that I don't need the help, it's just I wont really be using WC3 and it's Editor anymore, now that Starcraft is out. I'm currently working on other projects in the Starcraft editor.
