Hints and Tricks

Playing as Priestess of the Moon:

  • The Priestess is an auto-attacker but also a caster, make use of this.
  • Starfall is a CHANNEL Spell, hard crowd control (Knockups, Stuns, Polymorph, Silence, Grabs and Hooks) will stop Starfall. Make sure you're in a safe place to cast.
  • Trueshot will increase the Lesser Moon damage.
  • The Priestess is good at farming her Passive Stacks in Minions, then use the Full Stacked Passive to face your enemies.
  • Maximize Moon Shot for a great welcome.
Playing against Priestess of the Moon:
  • Most of her damage is Magic, Magic Resistance can provide you good defense against her kit.
  • Don't let Starfall last too much, it will deal lots of damage.
  • Be careful with Moon Shot, it will deal more damage as you keeps distance.
  • The Priestess have no crowd control, gap close can finish her easily.

Fairly simple, but both work well in-game, and look nice. Kudos for having both decay and dissipate. And approved. :)

I like the way you think, But anyway.. Good Job Dude!! and Keep it up!!;);)

Cool idea and pretty good execution. You might want to make the head on the main model more detailed.

Great job for now.

Definitely no. This model will stay true to Warcraft 3 style, the way it was meant to be.

Edit: Unless Casper decides to make another variation. You'll have to ask him :p

one thing that i kinda don't fancy is that the portrait is not looking similar.. as in, it still looks too much like.. not too sure which model you used for it, but yeah, hair and that forehead piece don't fit that well, also those shoulders aren't that similar .. maybe you should make a few custom mesh pieces from scratch for the portrait

I used the base portrait model of Sylvanas and the Hair was from Sorceress. It was the best I could do. A Void even have suggested me to do with the Sentry. Maybe I'll do with his suggestion.

Edit: And the "forehead piece" you mean her tiara? Well...it is with the original model :/

I really like the idea, though the proportions seem a bit... weird.

It is just like the Priestess of the Moon with the Tiger. But I had to increase the upper part to fit with the legs, instead of decreasing the legs size and screwing with the animations. I may not be a good modeller nor a good animator. But I have sense of space and other ones.

oh yeah, that portrait is better in head, hair, and shoulderpads, the chest does not seem that nicely wrapped/positioned tho.. it should be lower

edit: she could use her side-hair bits that go to the front, like they do in the actual model, to cover a bit of the sides of the chest. but not really to cover the breasts. the good place for those pieces to start is behind her ears, and then curve to front

The chest and shoulderpads are not nicely wrapped? Then the Blizzard model creators don't know how to even wrap a model, because I used the same torso and shoulderpad that Priestess of the Moon have.

If it was an unit instead of a hero and it had a spell animation I would give 5/5.

I mean the old version. I like it much more than the new one.

The old version was just a geomerge, while the new version is geomerge + texture wrap. The new version was to fix some issues of the old version like big arms, small chest, etc
