I'm still weighing the odds, I've had simple models taken down for seemingly no other reason than that the moderator didn't like simplicity.

Because of that, I am weary of shilling out variations of the same model as I unfortunately take rejected models rather poorly, going so far as to have a futile argument with the moderator.

As that went up in flames I gathered that simple models are (in the eyes of the guys upstairs) no longer acceptable, and that my words on the matter are unfortunately dust.

If I can make it sufficiently different or stylized enough, you will most definitely see the attachment and many other utility models.

One solution to that is to simply attach them to a post in the model's thread (i.e. post model, then quickly reserve first post for stuff).

Alternatively, consider the "Hive's Simple Model Editing Thread" somewhere for stuff just like that.

Alt-alternatively, it's very popular to create a thread of your own in the Modeling Section and throw all your WIPs/finished products/alternate versions into it. People seem to like that. : )
