Here's Plok, he's a character from an old 2D SNES game and he's much like Rayman in the fact that he can detach and float his limbs in mid air. Made as a gift to the Video Game Wars map project.

I like the model and the anims, not so keen on the texture. 4/5

The texture is designed to mimic the character design.

Your very welcome. Sorry for such a long delay in it's release. Truth is he's been nearly done for about 4 weeks. :vw_sad: But with working two jobs and all the other things I enjoy I eventually just lost track of the goal to do him. But I ran across his character sheet again on my thumbdrive and had to finish him. :goblin_good_job:

Yay! Much like Rayman in the fact that he can detach and float his limbs in mid air! =D

Anyway, looks like a decent model. Now if we just had a Rayman and Mister Dark to complete this great idea... :)

Ah very nice mesh fixes Jaret. I didn't realize how tall I had made his head underneath his eyes in comparison to the character sheet. It looks improved, I'd be happy to update the model to your fixed up version with your permission.

And what's wrong with the walk animation? Keep in mind I've never played any Plok games.

The walk animation doesn't look humanly possible to look like that =)
You know, well... the left arm goes forward, the left leg goes backward... but on this model the left arm goes forward, the left leg goes forward. I hope you understand, it should look like this:

Hmm, it's kind of embarassing to ask, since it looks good as it is now, but... Ok, I'll ask. Could you make 2 more anims? Like jump alternative and another spell anim. The new jump should be a sumersault, very fast, ball-like figure, and the spell should be a buzzsaw rotating fast. Please if you do that, I'd be grateful to death... well, you gotta understand Plok's my fave character, I'd die for him in real life ^^ So... Please?

EDIT: OH, and I'm doing a new texture... like better shaded. I know, the pic refference, but I'm using the game plok character ^^ Hope you'll like how it turns out.

Hmm, if it was only possible for warcraft 3 models to be cell-shaded... That would be awesome for this model.

If it doesn't look shaded for you guys, set the Digital Vibrance of your monitor to 50% (The middle) so it looks nice. I know this because I'm using 100% to sharpen the colors, but it kills most of the shading, so...

EDIT: Added the icon as well... I know... I love Plok too much ^^

Well on that note, the eyebrows kinda dominate the icon, intentional?

Yes ^^ Well, his character is defined by these Eyebrows. If you ever played the game, and beat a level, it would end up 90% of the time that he'll not get what he was looking for, and then... he throws out some badass one liners while "weildring" his arms and showing his anger through his eyebrows.
