67chrome: Nice to see shorts instead of the awkward black leatherish thing the peon had on before, but this skin seems lacking in many regards. There seems to be no shading, the skin does not look like skin, it looks sort of hairy, actually. I would advise looking at the skinning tutorials on this site to pick up better techniques, right now this skin could use a lot more work

Do not forget to put Alpha channel at builder weapon/tool
Santa must have no stuff at hands, meaby candy stick :]

I suggest putting 2 big horns in his mouth like the actual model, then it'd look awesome.

You should work on the face, and his skin.
Everything else looks good.

This needs more details and better textures :/ Looks too plain.

still, i dont know what im looking at, but i dont like it...
Try using the same body texture with other changes ,change the face uh... the cloth is ok but too plain... add a better shading... other green tones for the skin would be good...

Why does he have that little black... I dont know the word for it... on his junk? Cant he just have pants on?

Anyways, i will try to work on its skin and the black thingy.

i dont want to be rude, but looks the same as before. just it has LESS shading now. And the cloth and skin texture still look too similar.

Okay guys, i have messed with the shadows and highlights.
I hope it is improved, please take a look at it ingame and say what you think about it now.
Sorry, but the preview is NOT changed yet.

[+] - His cloth looks rather good ingame, but it could use some more highlights and shading.

[-] - As you can see from the portrait, his teeth are green an un-alphed. You'll have to fix that, find a tutorial on Hive about Alpha Skinning, I think it will help you. I really recommend you to fix this. Oh yeah and, make some normal teeth, not green.
[-] - Eyes are too small, and how you wrapped it is rather wierd. The eyeball area on the skin is for the eyeball.
[-] - His skin looks kinda hairy or furry. Use some refferences to see how muscles and skin of an Orc looks like.
[-] - The whole skin is not very well shaded, and it lacks some highlights.

[=] - Not a very original idea, it's almost the same peon as it was before, except that I like the old one more.
[=] - The skin is kinda... boring, nothing special on it.


Fix the " - " and you'll get a better rating and probably a chance for approval.

Actually they should be kinda small. Anyways will work on them.

Anyways, thanks for the review. I will see what i can do to make it better.
Im not very expirienced in skinning and drawing, thats why i lack in shading and highlights. I have to go swimming for about 3 hours now, but i will see what i can do to make it look better when im home again.

Well, about fur on the orc, it's just not growing, and if you want make icon, make it from portrait, not from model, coz it looks wierd. (about skin all have been said already)

Yeah, you should make an icon from the portrait, but after you fix the eyes and teeth. Mine turned out pretty well (and funny ). Icon

Looks pretty nice
I did allready take a screen of the portrait, but it didnt look that good.
I think the icon i have allready looks good enought.
