902 pollies, almost 1000. That's kind-of much for an attachment, not to mention it's 3 times bigger than a peasant, therefore I doubt he's got the strength to hold it in ONE arm, if at all.

However work was put into this, and as an overall concept I like it, 4/5

I know all my models are of almost 900 or 1200 poly count, but ¿What happened with the quality? If this model were made only with arround 500 poly count, it would be worst than now; lightweight, but worst than now...

PD: I prefer Always better x)

Yes, we do need new designs, but a new design needs to look functional. Difficult to cut someone with a series of ROUND spiralling tubes. It really would look much better on a staff. The handle looks GREAT for a sword, though.

I might be a little late here but I question the whole "a blade with this shape cannot work as a weapon"-idea. Now, we are actually talking about a magical world here, and I cannot see why this blade isn't just magically enchanted so that it can cut the hell out of anything regardless of its shape. I mean, if you actually take a look at the model there's a heck of magical mumbo-jumdo going on. Is no one questioning the logic in that? Or the fact that Thrall wields a hammer yet he fires lighting bolts not actually using his hammer in the way one would think, or, better up, Lich doesn't have a weapon at all still he kicks ass. (=

Less logic to the people! Great magical mumbo-jumbo sword, KayS.
 
Btw, since this is a one-handed sword, a scaled-down version would be nice. Of course, I can always open it and scale it down, takes only a few seconds. The current size of the sword seems more useful as a two-handed weapon. It's a much more reasonable size than it was originally, though. Before, it was too big for two people to hold with both hands!
I think at the moment scaling it down to 0.8 times it's current size would be a bit more reasonable for using with one hand, and the current size works fine for two hands.
Btw I'm looking forward to seeing the staff you make, using the original
series of ROUND spiralling tubes
to make the staff!
 
Obviously it is, you can't "accidentally" have a light effect and not notice it. Light is generally made through emitters.
But those particle emitters do get on my nerves, I'm rather annoyed with everybody submitting attachments and item models that are absolutely covered in them, they don't fit!
Such as: Meat with purple particle emitters, I had to submit my own because everyone else gave meat purple particle emitters...
Or my gold model, people wanted it to have particle emitters... Real natural gold ore, unpolished and uncleaned, still in the rock, does not sparkle all over the place.
And the same for this weapon, the particle emitters annoy me :(
