"- First Cinematic Map"
guess this means that it is ur first cinematic map;
is it ur first map overall or did u work on some other yet available maps?

after i was watching ur cinematic my first thought was: are there no variables? special effects spawn and stay etc.
n i had a look at ur triggers and yeah: there are no (but 2) variables
in cinematic maps u'll often work with special effects n most of them dont disappear after usage; so u should allocate every effect to a variable to be able to destroy it

second off ur camerawork aint the best - think properly about what u wanna put in ur focus; what's the message u r wanting to transmit with the pictures;
Example: the first pictures: is illidan the message of the first picture? well then why aint he in the focus of the picture but somewhere in the bottomleft corner?
or "the end": the focus of the last picture for me is the river in the bottomleft and the dirttile on the plateau - but i m quite sure u wanted to show both heros again; right, they're visible but they don't attract attention
- sometimes obstacles or cliffs slightly block the sight

(btw i hope u know that u r able to move and spin ur camera freely by pushing ctrl + holding the right mousebutton)

the next point is; well i love cinematics but i m not the biggest fan of fighting cinematics; there is a lack of story in fighting cinematic. it even shows the title: "fighting cinematic", "another fighting cinematic", "illidan vs arthas", i say a cinematic has to develope a story even tho it's not the biggest or greatest one, no story -> no five points

last point i wanna mention is the terrain, it's rather experimental and "funny" made because well come on there is a ship in a 5x5 meter water - plz keep it reasonable in both ways; either funny or earnest

and i dunno who gave u 5/5 for this cinematic but it's a 150% one of ur friends - cos it's NOT 5/5
but for ur first fighting cinematic it's a praiseworthy and experimental try and it's nice to come here and ask ppl about their opinion
n i hope i was able to be a littl help n feel free to message me at any time :D

ps: an austere word: don't listen to ppl who give u 5/5 points, it may sound nice to get full points;
but they r lying to you
so work hard n tell me when u finished ur next map :p

Ye u mabye right shaun, but it wasen't meant to be a good terrain, i mean arenas, they have no terrain at all, just did it for fun, its a bit empty otherwise.. :p And i wouldn't call it ''Cinematic Fight'' it wasent much fight at all :s.

Would be better if i didn't make any maps... cuz they're always getting removed. dosen't matter what sort of map i do.. everyone of mine get bad credits... It's so annoying when i've seen other maps that's not even good

@kuddeludde - "i wouldn't call it cinematic fight"; well u actually did ^^ just watch the headline/mapname

well u have to make a decision; either u want to use an arena-setting or an "outdoor-setting"; just placing random doodads in the to-make-it-not-so-dull way is no way whatsoever
even an arena setting can be beautifully designed; just imagine an arena sandy soil in the centre, maybe some obstacles around surrounded by a barrier or cordon n behind the yelling n cheering folks: THAT's an arena-setting
or just create a river, waterfalls, cliffy terrain with trees, rocks, bushes they're fighting in the running water, jumping up the cliffs and battling by the waterfall
that's an possible outdoor-setting
putting doodads just 'cos "i have to" doesn't make a good lively cinematic; if u dont integrade ur characters into their surroundings it will always stay a bunch of triggers and modells

@macksen - dont double post plz use the edit function
@macksen - i m rather confused about u 2 guys relationship - maybe u could give me a littl help
-anyway if u got problems with rejections of ur maps or the reflection in the audience just call me 'n i might tell you why =)

Hahaha I had really fun watching this. The music makes everything a lot less serious and then makes it funnier again to watch :D. The viewer can see you had fun doing this!

Thumb up!
