Zul'Aman Template

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.

Well this is a template of the Troll City of Zul'aman. It's based on WoW dungeon so you can follow the same route to complete it and have a small instances in the mountains of the south to fight a "mini-boss"/puzzle or something like dat. I searched for similar map in epicwar.com but I just got a low terrain map so I upload my creation to the joy of all troll lovers :)

Just tested the map, here's my review:

Well, I am a huge wow-raidstyle maps fan.. and when I looked into your map I thought I might quickly use it for my Zul'Aman dungeon project..
but that was short-lived as the map is way too small and doesn't accurately represent the raid in wow, perhaps if you put more effort into it; then it'll be better.. but right now it doesn't stand out from any other template maps.

I'll rate this 3/5 vote for awaiting update and maybe +Rep for creativity, will update/change my rating when you've added the necessary changes, you can also tell me if you dislike/dissatisfied with my comment and rating and I'll remove them both.

No, don't remove them! It make me improve my skills to be better! Thank you for your review, it's really appreciated! I understand it's small, if you please give me more suggestions to improve it I'll be glad to put it on o7

You absolutely already have a good map shape overall. Well-sized rooms and interesting infra-structure, not just linear and boring.
That being said, you have a good base to work from, but there could be a lot more details added. Try fleshing it ot with a lot more doodads.
You should work further with the tiles aswell. The grass often feels pretty misplaced.

You also seem to have started a puzzee template in the south-eastern cornor: Just out of curiosity: How is that supposed to work?

I did one without southeastern region, just with mountains,however I tought it was a miss place often out of camera, so I created the rooms in attempt to "if you want to reach the final boss then you must defeat the loas in this chamers", player is then teleported there, defeat the loa boss and return to the main room (something like megaman I guess) then when you have reach defeated the three bosses you can fight with for the throne of Zul'aman or something like that... the plot was not done exactly, I just did the themplate. Therefore in south region is a small arena (we know troll love arena).

Best described as the “least of amount effort required to make a Zul’aman like map in wc3”.
There is no effort to create a template that forms a coherent landscape, and I don’t expect this map to a 1-to-1 replica of the actual Zul’aman dungeon.
However I would like to think that you should at least try to block out thematic regions that when put together; form something that looks like a lost city. What currently exists is an (almost) random assortment of structures with just enough doodads over them.

I do not consider this map to of approval quality, especially when considering the size of the map at hand. The less there is to make, the less tolerance there is for subpar work.
This map is too random to be a good playable template and too poor quality to be a cinematic terrain template.
