OrcAssassin

This model was requested from En_Tropy very long ago (about 7 months or so). I just didn't have time to make it so far and to be honest, i quite forgot it too. Nevertheless, he reminded me, and i finished it. Feel free to use it in any way you want, no need to ask me for permissions and such! Have fun with it!

This does look very interesting and I like on how he has a wolf skin on his head like the shaman and the Beastmaster aims is good too.

It's really interesting, but the file size is far too high for so simple of a model.

I do like it a lot, though, I'd love it if you'd work on lowering that file size a bit. All blizzard models have ridiculous file sizes, so simple model edits tend to retain those ridiculous file sizes. Most of it can be lowered by merging geosets with the same texture, linearizing animations, making sure you don't have multiple materials with the same texture, and making sure you've removed unused textures and materials. I'm sure you've probably already done some of these things, but I'm also sure you haven't done some of these things, otherwise the file size would be much lower.

I'll wait until you've reduced the file size to rate it.

interesting...

Hm, yeah now that you mention it. I didn't look at it when uploading it, but yes, now your post made me suspicious. :ogre_icwydt: i checked that with the materials, and i don't remember that any of them occured twice or that 2 geosets used the same...but as you pointed out, it's a simple edit. Yes the filesize might not change much. :vw_sad:

very nice,good job
thank you, dear neffew. :ogre_hurrhurr:

What about the animations?

what should be the problem with them? Is it possible that there's a reason for increased filesize due to anim's fault? :vw_wtf:

The animations of blizzard models are more complex than they need to be, leading to massive file sizes. You can linearize them, and, after a few edits, have the same performance, with a much lower file size. You'll need to ask somebody else how to do it, though, I haven't actually bothered messing with animations yet.
