This skin is rather dark, though a few touch-ups to increase the amount of highlights and overall variation between light and black could help it out. There is no texture on the beard and the wooden butt of the rifle, they are totally flat-and could use some texture and 3-Dimentionality. The shading on the black barrel of the gun doesn't look quite right. Doing black and white textures is pretty hard, as there is a much smaller area to work with in how they are shaded to look correctly in game, and I think you may need to develop some more skills before you can make the barrel of the gun look correctly. Looking at reference images is a great help when doing complected things, for situations like this google image search is your friend. Other than that this skin needs a greater quantity of it made from scratch by you, it had less than the 75% freehand work that I need to see to approve it :(

67chrome: The armor needs to have a wider tonal range, right now if it was converted to a grayscale image most of the armor would be the same shade of gray. You need to get it to the point that if you convert your image to a grayscale image it will look shaded and round, with the chest lighter than the sides, the center of the legs lighter than the sides of the legs, etc. The update is nicer than the original, but this skin needs to be seriously re-worked to get approved, not just updated as a minor bug fix. Once it gets to that point I won't reject it. But right now you have a lot to work on, and visiting the texture/skinning tutorials could help you with doing textures such as hair and wood. If you want to update it in minor phases I would suggest starting a thread for this skin in the 2D art section of the Forums, were you can upload pictures of your skin and ask for help on how to improve it ;)

67chrome: An admirable improvement from it's previous state, but it still needs a lot of work. The braids on the beard are a nice touch, but the beard is rather blurry and undefined. The rest of the skin is rather messy as well. I'd recomend working on this skin much more, and practicing on whatever program you are using to create this skin much more as well :(

First, I want to say the magic word: Lolwut! (No speceific reason for it though, I just wanted to) :)
Then, I'm gonna throw in some constructive critic. :D I may not be any good skinner, but at least I see what could use some improvement.
Like the dude with the first comment said, it's a tad too dark. Brighten everything up a bit. It could also use some more shading, once it has been brightened. And more highlights. There's a lot of fields of a nearly/completely black colour, so I suggest making the shadows a bit less drastic.
Else than that, I gotta say the beard looks really weird. :S You should work on that. See if you can find some sort of tutorial for hair texturing. (Usually I'd throw in a link, but atm I can't be arsed to go find a tutorial for you. Good luck finding one, though) :)
Same goes for the wooden part of the gun. It looks...err...disgusting :S. I'm sure there's a good tutorial about wood textures, and if not you can PM me. I know a bit about that.

That's all I have to say right now. And I really have to say this is really good for a first skin. Make some changes and improvements, I'll check in later to see how it's going with your skin. Keep up the good work

the guy looks like he got in big massive charcoal explosion or something, red eyes dusty black beard and gun that looks like he was mining coal lol.

but for the first skin i rate it 2.5/5

try sharpening it a lil bit and make some parts of the clothing lighter.

What is it supposed to be? What niche are you trying to fill?

This is why no one can tell you how to improve it, I don't think anyone understands what you're making. The skin you made isn't nearly as good as the ingame Rifleman skin, so I honestly can't see anyone using it.

Whatever it is supposed to be, it lacks definition all over (which also makes it hard for us to figure out what it is supposed to be...), so clean it up so we can see the details (especially the legs and butt of the rifle, totally lacking there).

im talking about the whole skin in general. there arent all that much changes to the skin.

compare the two. do you really think that this is 75% freehand and 25% recolour? this looks more to me like 50% recolour, 30% freehand and the other 20% you didn't even edit.

so more or less this skin doesn't follow the rules.
So i am pointing out that this will probably not be approved in its current state with a lack of freehand.

LOLWUT Thank you.
