Nomad256.blp

The Nomad acts as a wanderer to his race. Never in one place, never comforted, never affected by pleasantries.
Merc job you name, he does it for you at a reasonable price of course.

Skilled in the arts of survival and combat.

Archian: Great highlights and shading. Great details on the face. The wrap of Arthas hair is horrible (not your fault). However, you can work around that a little better e.g. example. Also, while it's great use of the alpha channel for the cape for team color, it doesn't really look as great. Perhaps redo the folds and choose darker colors, it kind of blends in with the hair. While this is definitely a great work of art, I wonder if you will update the texture taking some of the points I've made above into consideration. Keeping this on pending for now.

Archian: Changes made. Approved!

I like those details in his chest and his tatooed face is awesome.

well, it's more of just having tribal paint on.. but i agree it's a great texture :3
the only thing that's miffing me is how the darn arthas hair wraps.. and.. i would suggest to try redoing his hair into something that works better with the infernal wrap, especially on the back

edit: shorter hair is always a plus on the back..

Indeed I use that(bless AnemicRoyalty).
The hair is kinda horrible admittedly but I see the point.

I was thinking of either redoing it more fine(e.g. my Restless skin approach) or making it into a hood.
Another one would be to switch it over to Arthas(with Frostmourne) wrap since that has a more forgiving hair part(the example you showed with Friky's texture).

Any thoughts?

Well I say enough with the hair, make him bald and put some tribal colors on top of his head! No I was just kidding :ogre_hurrhurr: A hood might be good idea, since he is a mercenary and mercenaries with nice hood looks more expensive to afford?

I don't think I've ever seen a nice execution of turning the hair of Athas into a hood. But by all means, try to have a go at it.

The only diffrence between the two is that the lower part of the hair is alphaable i.e. on the Hammer model it won't work, but Arthas with Frostmourne it will (if I recall correctly). Nonetheless, you would still need to work around the wrap. How you do it is completely up to you :) but I would suggest using the example I showed you as inspiration.

Also, to avoid any misconceptions. This texture is approveable in it's current state, but I would like to see it updated. If you don't wanna work any further on this, I will approve it. But you can get a higher rating if you work around the wrap.

Furthermore, if you decide to go with the Frostmourne version, I would suggest you add a texture for the sword as well ;)

With that said, I'm hoping to see more of your textures released  Keep up the good work!

Slight update given the recent feedback.
I made a more minimalistic approach for the hair since it gets all fugly when given too much detail over a larger area.
Left shoulder pad detailed 'bit more and some TC over places.

Also, slight cape rework(as in color) plus some highlights and shadows here, there, wherever I felt like.
