Ner'zhul, the Elder Shaman

Ner'zhul the Elder Shaman and Former Lich King before his soul and essence become one with Arthas'.

If the Armor is not your liking you can delete it.

Feel free to use or edit it.

"To help Ner'zhul accomplish his mission, the eredar Kil'jaeden forged a runeblade and an powerful armor from the very cold metal, found only in the artic lands of Icecrown Citadel. The runeblade was able to drain Ner'zhul's enemies souls, this would heal him whenever he gets hurt, and the armor was able to defend Ner'zhul from the most powerful offensive spell, since it doesn't belong to the eredar race. Ner'zhul embraced this gift, but soon he regret it, for these forged itens were conecting him even more deep into Kil'jaeden's will."

well the orc ner'zhul never had that armor and frostmourne, ki'jaeden forged them both after ripping the orc apart to the very soul

I know, but I made this one with a different storyline:

"To help Ner'zhul accomplish his mission, the eredar Kil'jaeden forged a runeblade and an powerful armor from the very cold metal, found only in the artic lands of Icecrown Citadel. The runeblade was able to drain Ner'zhul's enemies souls, this would heal him whenever he gets hurt, and the armor was able to defend Ner'zhul from the most powerful offensive spell, since it doesn't belong to the eredar race. Err, what.
Ner'zhul as a shaman certainly did not wield that helmet, nor the blade.

The helmet (known as the Helmet of domination) was crafted by demons, thus making it impossible for Ner'zhul to wear prior to meeting the demons. And once he met them, his spirit was put into the helmet, so..

The model itself does not seem to bad, but due the lore reasons most people wont find this useful as it wont suit most maps.

I only stated my thoughts to come to my conclusion that very few would find this useful.

If people understand the alternate storyline maybe someone can use this model for some project, like: what it would happen if...

And in the words of Tichondrius: "The runeblade that you carry was forged by the Lich King and empowered to steal souls. Yours was the first one he claimed."

What do you mean by "the portrait coulduse some more character"?
he still kinda behaves like a troll. if i was told to imagine nerzul speaking he would be more calm and powerfull'ish looking and have more effects and shit
and i'd imagine his helm's eye holes line up with his eyes better. details and things like that

I tried to line the face and helmet but the teeth were piercing the helm during the animations. I'l try to change the animations maybe this will work.

I havn't test the "spell attack" animation as a normal attack. Aout the chest I understand, but try to fix it. I think that if you add a polygon up his back and then add the right skin as reference it would be ok. However, upload the model without armor. If you can add animation when he get the armor like saint seiya would be awesome!

Ok, I really-really loved the concept first time i saw this model. It works well so it's approved. Good job.

Now the downsides. First off - I like what you did with troll's face but his animations don't exactly fit the camera position and temper of the character. Second - teamcolour on his chest looks really bad with the teamglow plane behind his head. Improve it's wrap. Then - always remember to set visibility of the third segment of particle emitters to zero so that they look MUCH MUCH MUCH better.

Also SPINE TITS and SPINE NIPS.

By "third segment of particles emitters to zero" you mean the alpha number?
