Nephelect - The Godslayer

Torn from the mortal coil by cruel winds, this once promising Archer was stolen away from his home of Brill.

Forced into servitude as one of Ner'Zhul's unholy Godslayers, Nephelect Renwhal will forever be known as the Blight of the Hills, where he overlooks his skirmishes.

Feel free to edit this model, but don't forget to give me credit!

EDIT:
Fixed the Death and Spell anims.

Turned the arms, legs and jaw to bone.

Model no longer falls into the ground upon death.

But the green color still makes it look orcish. I thought so at my first look at it. Maybe make a bit more light-blue in it? But pretty good rather than that :)

Nobody said a human couldn't go out into the forest, murder and mutilate a wolf's corpse and then wear it as clothing.

This one just happened to be doing just that when he died.

:D


Oh, and before I forget, i'm going to make a total of ten Godslayers, nine of them human, one is going to be a surprise :D

I'd love to see more of 'em, make a pack :thumbs_up:

You could just change the green to something more like Wow-Forsakenish and add some undead like features so that it doesn't look orcish/trollish anymore.

Hmm... I'm sure it's because you're using in-game textures, but the really solid white colors of the bony legs and such annoy me. Try adding some detail to it, perhaps some yellowish/brownish tints to make the bone marrow look come out more.

your new models i find are way way too simple. this is a skeleton with a wolf head and a random sword in his hand that he does not use with sudden quicksand under him when he dies!

Funny, some dude did the same thing with my Ner'Zhul model. He said something like, "you just took a hellscream, added a staff gave him a new skin etc"
Yes, that's what I did. It's called editing.
And yes that is what T-Revellion-T did with this model.
No need to point out what he already has done. He knows what he's done. Instead say something constructive. Give him some ideas.

It's like i'm a freakin' leper.


I might as well defect, atleast WC3C doesn't have rogues in the staff, and highly unuseable criticism.

Oh, and this used to be a Priest model, just incase anyone else wants to say that what i'm doing is simple.

i just came here to see if the spear is still the wrong way round and YES IT IS!

why should he hold it the wrong way round?
it takes more time to stab ppl with it!
and the animation doesn't fit with it see that:

in the first frame the spear is facing the back and in the second its facing the front and there is no part of the animation where he is turning it around it just goes like

(i know nothing about modeling so i can't watch the animation slower and make a picture of every single step but this should do it too)

Some people are dumb, to say the least. Notice how the Brigand model throws his spear? And the Troll Headhunter, Troll Berzerker and plenty of other Trolls throw their weapons?

It should be blatantly obvious that he's a ranged hero, hence the reason I made the spear disappear during an attack anim.

cause I am an evil person I'll waste my useless time to create some vid or something showing you what's wrong

as long as it isn't ready:
the troll headhunter isn't holding its spear and the wrong way round and the brigand neither :p

Funny, though, how you completely disregard the fact that the Troll Berzerker has that exact same anim, and always put the camera at an odd angle. I'd like to ask that you either put it in plain view or quit pushing a -wrong- point that I don't care about.

here the same with troll and like i said he's holding his spear the right way round and the attack is fine (when did i "completely disregard the fact that the Troll Berzerker has that exact same anim" anyway? oO)

and if i wrote anything misunderstoodable:
i dont care about the f***ing animation but i care about how the spear is changing its facing without any reason and how he's holding the spear the wrong way round while running etc......

Deal with it, quit bitching about the spear and next time you've got something to say, unless it's something fatally wrong with the model, I don't really care, i'm simply sending my models out to the public.

I'm not a sociable or patient person, hassling or groundlessly insulting me leads to retaliation, and an explanation of why it's not really my concern. When I make a cinematic model, I check the details, when I make something for regular use, I leave it be.

and I didn't got the thing with the wrong base model
I used the model you uploaded how could it be wrong? oO
anyway I wanted this to be treated like constructive criticism but it seems like I have been mistaken
I will finish this by giving your model just 4/5 because it s not perfect and stop commenting now because I don't want to waste your time so you can make more great (and hopefully perfect) models :p
