Necropolis Reforged Beta Style

The necropolis serves as the central command structure of the undead army. Lumber harvested by ghouls is processed, and loyal acolytes train for tasks from their undead masters. Even when unattended, the vengeful spirits of the dead protect the necropolis from enemy attackers. In time, this structure can be further modified to become the Halls of the Dead. After that, it also may turn into a Black Citadel.

How to import
If you want both normal necropolis and beta necropolis: just import 6 files to your map, you must remove "war3imported\" in the path of BC_ReforgedBetaBirth.mdx, BC_ReforgedBetaDeath.mdx , HOTD_ReforgedBetaBirth.mdx , HOTD_ReforgedBetaDeath.mdx , if not the model won't work correctly

In "_retail_" folder, find folder following this path:"buildings\undead\Necropolis" , copy and paste NecropolisReforgedBeta.mdx to here then change name to Necropolis.mdx.Just ignore portrait files

Another amazing model from Z. I really-- I just love everything about this one. I consider this "the version that makes sense" because the T2 and T3 upgrades have canals with the green liquid flowing down. And I was expecting a flood in the game, but the pool makes much more sense. :grin:

Good job, and keep it up! Looking forward to your next project, whilst this one is a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for me. Also, this model needs to be approved ASAP!
 
Do you have any plans to merge this into a single "model" that uses stand upgrade animations like the original town halls do?
I believe that this is what the vanilla Necropolis/Halls of the Dead/Black Citadel is. They are merged in one model, but their birth and death model are separated from the main. I might be remembering it wrong, so someone can correct me on this.

In Reforged they split to many files in all models :birth, death and upgrade. I think they do this because the model is too big to working. Without LODs geoset I still feel lagging when editing( imagine in original model,each geoset has LODs geoset and then they merge all to 1 model. I think my pc will KaBooooom when open this )
 
Follow-up question - if I don't use the birth and death animations provided, will it use the default Necropolis ones?
No,because model has birth,death,upgrade attachment and the path was set to as the name of birth, death I provided so if you dont import them so the model wont have anything when death or birth. So,if you want to use default Necropolis, you must change the name of old one like the new one
 
that looks nice, but the units clip on the wall walking too close to it, also is more "evil" to dump that poisonous shit directly to earth instead of pooling it for whatever reason xD
Yeah, but it looks like this model requires a larger pathing texture so that won't happen.

all very beautiful. However. Why do Birth and Death by BlackCitadelBeta and HallsofTheDeadBeta seem invisible to me? Oh really. I tried it in the world editor and you can see animations. but when I play it. They do not appear within the Game. You can try to fix it. Still, the beta model is much better than the original. good job

You must import birth and death models to your map then remove "war3mapimported/". Main model wont show birth and death animation if you import with wrong path

is that I want to use it on local files. I did everything right in the Import Instructions and they still don't show up. I have changed the name of your animations so that they work in the same Necropolis folder and still nothing :c
