Naga Dragon

I was bored, and realized naga needs more air.. so here it is...
based off green dragon, re-uvied, along with model edits (no real anim edits)
apolagies if the UV isnt perfect...

UPDATES
-fixed holes
-fixed quite a few UV issues
-fixed breath
-added a little to the head
-added some planes to the neck (so theres no hole in it, from the bottom)
-fixed breath again (now its steam, instead of bubbles)
-fixed crah

Update:
Model has been optamized, and is now 70kb, and probably around 50 kb inside the map (its also been squished)

It does not have anything to do with the shape of the head, but the fact that the head is extremely low poly. You better just geoset merge a head with more polies on it and fix the shape to your linkings, or create a new head yourself. Either of it will boost the quality of this model
 
the head i didnt like either, but i cant improve to much on it, without throwin some other parts in, the other designs i didnt like either, this head seems like it would fit for an underwater beast..

the wings ill try my best to fix, but i dont know how well ill be able to do on that, without being able to add faces.. ive already spent quite a while on the wings, but i could still spend more

and what uvparts you think could use particular improvements..
i really do need to improve the UV, cause this model is more likely to be a high end flying, meaning its probably gonna be larger, which is when flaws really show..

for particles perhaps bubbles?


i am aware of the coutai being air.., but if you ever noticed, other major races have more than 1 air >.> this will prob help someone with a naga race, make it more fair and balanced..

and you dont think the coutai looks wierd? Oo, i think its one of the wierder wc3 units
 
updated, thanks for the input, but anyone got any ideas for the head? :p i dont really know what else to add, i dont want to take away from his aerodynamics, otherwise he wouldnt glide through water easily...

on a side note, ive been thinking about adding swim animations XD, although who needs to swim when you can fly? XD
except maybe for dive..

as for the unwrap, im kind of stuck with that little bit of white where the shoulders meet the neck, the rest of the neck i dont see much of a problem with, maybe a little blury?

eh bubbles are powerfull enough
have you ever seen squirtle use bubble beam? XD

a dive bomb anim eh... thats more of a critter move there....

i am aware of the pointedness of the head, thats part of what makes it a 'swimmer' otherwise it couldnt zoom through the water as fast

you couldtake a look at my waterbasilisk model to see how you could make the bubbles look more dangerous. :>

I have imported your model and tried to use it - by replacing Gryphon Rider with your dragon. The result is crashing of World Editor. I don't know whether i did something wrong, but it seems that your model does not function properly in my World Editor. However, it looks good.

-This model crashes warcraft 3 and renders maps unusable. Therefore this will not be aproved if you dont fix this mayor issue.

Design and execution:
-this model has a several lack of polygons

Ok, now that you fixed that problem, im going to give you a proper review.
The concept in this model is good, not the best aerial that i´ve seen ,but works and has its style.
The execution is better made now. The only thing you should add is maybe some extra polys to the forehead. The eyes look too close one to another.
It looks more like a drake than a aerial naga, but whatever.
The bubles looked weird, good thing you changed them unto something more fitting.
Fixed the crashing problem, now i dont see why not aprove this.

7.9/10

Thougth not necessary you could improve this model with some particles on the "spell" animation. or make the wings bigger (and flatter?)
And maybe a " Morph- submerge "animation? even thougth is aerial i think it would look interesting and gave possible usefulness for map makers.
