Check out the tutorials on this site for some skinning techniques to incorporate on this bad boy, and make it at least 75% freehand (material made from scratch by you).

Even if it "needs improvement", it shouldn't be posted in the skins section until you are sure you have the final version.
Imo this is just a generic recolour. It has nothing that defines it from the regular crypt fiend except for the fact that it's orange. Add some more details to make it look "mutated", cause i dont see where that mutation's at.

Okay i have remade a part of the skin. Would you please comment the attached screenie? I have changed the skincolor and totally remade the 'fur'. When i have done the rest of the fur i will update the skin.

that looks a bit realistic, however the fur needs to follow the curves of the body, and this one is kinda.. straight. o_O

and i dunno about your color choice.. it seems kinda..odd..

didn't i tell you to rework all the fur like you did the light part? then you can play around with the hue and saturation of it..

and also.... this skin lacks shadows and highlights. you see... there is the top of the any part of the "body" there needs to be lighter, in the middle needs to be normal, and on the bottom needs to be darker, if not black-ish. (oh yes, the highlights and shadows need to follow the body curves)

take a bit more looks in that tutorial i gave ya :p http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/2d-art-tutorials-281/mr-goblins-tutorial-110127/
