Summery:
Okay as far as my expectations this surpassed what I'd expect from the normal anime map - Though that's not saying much as no one really expects an anime map to be good. This one you could actually get some genuine fun online on bnet, assuming your friends like anime so much that they'd rather play that instead of a more solidly designed hero arena.

Review:
Creativity: 1/5 - HEY GUYZ, U WAN 2 PLAY A MAP? ITZ GOT LIEK NARUTO AND BLEACH CHARS IN IT!!!!!!!!
Terrain: 2.5/5 - I'd say retool around your doodad models for ones that fit together better, if the models were more suiting it would be passable.
Coding: 3/5 - I couldn't open it, but from the looks in game it wasn't all that terrible - it could use some work but at least everything I tested works
Gameplay: 3/5 - I could see enjoying this online, though it's not a hugely unique or outstanding experience

Overall:
2.4/5

Well it's not so bad that it needs rejection, but atm it doesn't really seem quality enough work to be approved.
For now I'd vote rejection

I never said I don't like anime - I find shows pretty decent (first season Bleach was pretty interesting). I just said that most Anime maps are rejected and people often tend to think this site hates anime, the reason most are rejected is because most are made terribly - this one was actually surprisingly good compared to other anime themed maps.

Also you shouldn't have to like anime to enjoy the map - for some people liking the anime clouds their judgment on whether or not the map is actually good.

I admit it's not bad, but it could be much, much better. If you want a site to just unload every map you got, use Epic war for that. Other then that at the moment it's just a mediocre hero arena amidst plenty of other ones that are better and more original - strip the anime references and you pretty much just have a plain hero arena.

Also this map's filesize could be reduced a bit, but I guess file size is a bit of a minor complaint atm since it's not huge- I've seen larger maps with filesizes less then 2 mb with custom models and icons.



And no - just because it's an anime map doesn't mean someones going to break out the special anime nut moderator who handles all anime maps since he's the only one who could possibly understand their greatness where others see nothing special. You probably have a higher chance of getting a moderator who doesn't find anime special, and aggravated from the many many terrible naruto maps that get uploaded on a weekly basis are pretty ready to reject this.

ive tested v1.2a:(sry if some of those things are already fixed)

bugs:
-bepos shockwave skill actually doesnt do any dmg to heroes at lvl 2 and probably above(cant remember)
-chitinous blade's chance to shoot a shockwave are pretty close to zero, if it even has a chance (item description says 15% but this is wrong)

heroes that needs some nerfs:
-sai (hes just extremely overpowered...for example, his dogs are doing quite decent dmg AND following you like the half length of the map without sai beeing even close)
-ichigo (not as op as sai, bit compared to lots of other heroes ive tested, he was far over the top)

problematic heros:
- sasuke: his susanoo skill is a PAIN. not about its effect but about the fact that this skill is draining alot cpu which renders to heavy lags...please fix that.


suggestions to improve your map:
- more items, especially defensive ones (more armor, hp reg/evasion etc.)
- int heroes (seriously, due to the extreme high skill cds its quite impossible to drain all of your mana... making mana reg items completely useless) which take the full potential out of their mana
-more heroes of course (some more soul eater chars would be awesome but thats just my opinion)
-advance your impeldown to lvl 5! it was actually pretty fun to fight your way to lvl 3 but than it was kind of a dead end...sad =(
-GET RID OF THAT MINIMAP! seriously, its annyoing as fuck. just have a normal minimap ingame and a ...better minimap preview.

for now, a solid 3,5/5 with seeing a good bunch of potential there.

Indeed susano lags me totally and its sasuke main skill late game :/
Btw add hp items i depend on str and bots/players gotta walk around with 1k-2k hp... easy kills

Fix the minimap. Good god man, in a map like this, a minimap is really helpful, or WOULD of been.
Fix leaks.
Fix lag.
Fix the spells.
Fix the terraining.
Make those stupid looking buildings not walkable, or remove them and do us all a favor.

The hell?
I really hate the fact that through out the map you used sand and an urban type tile together. That tile would never be found with sand. And sand would never be found in the middle of a town either. The blueish tile you used, doesn't belong in the tileset.
I couldn't even tell which base tile set you used, because I was overwhelmed by the wide range of tiles present.
-Back to the image. You will never find those 5 tiles like that. An urban tile underwater, with wood next to it(also underwater)...and sand again, in a city.
+That lake, or pond thing, is square...(rectangular actually) where have you seen a lake or pond like that?

Great job! a very good map, I've played it in LAN with AI with a friend and I must say that we had a LOT of fun-- but is running LOW on my old pc :eek: sasuke ability cause even more lag and the sounds are too LOUD (but maybe because I setted them to min. in w3?) anyway thank you :xxd:

You need to read Weener's rating system, you just misinterpreted what the final score was.

And seriously, remove those annoying sounds from the game - they're terrible quality sound bits taken with background music from the shows themselves which could become spammy with a lot of people playing - they also have a lot of static. Really who cares if your character shouts 5 seconds of gibberish for every spell?

BY THE WAY-please fix sasuke's ultimate..his ultimate (Susano) causes a lot
of lags which annoys me and my friends.
-also when i die to creeps the kill addds to the opposing team's score...i know this is a small matter but
it annoys me when my opposing team is arrogant eventhough i am the one winning

I didn't even download it, and i'll not vote for ANYTHING. After i download it, maybe.
Point 1: Creativity 1/5: Everything is Anime-copied. At Brazil RPG Rooms of Garena it would be a success.
Point 2: It is Like FOC(Fight of Characters, or Fighter of Characters).
Point 3: Terrain: 3/5: It seems it needs more details.
Point 4: Skills: Sounds good. Going to test.
Point 5: Balance: Maybe? After Test.
Point 6: Gameplay:?????????

Wait until something, then i can vote for it.

Now this my friend is ausome i love the spells they are so...like u know so like wat the spells look like..... unlike the custom spells that use warcraft 3 sprites like when u use eg. spike wall it uses spikes from warcraft 3 which makes it gay 10/10

After checking this map, it is quite... unoriginal, to say the least.

The terrain is almost completely based off custom models, so if you'd look at the base terrain it's definitely not good.
Well, actually: the entire game was made out of custom models, all the good ratings in this thread are because you have the knowledge to import models.
Excuse me if this sounds rude, but you do not deserve most of the ratings here: importing models is a very basic aspect of mapping and shouldn't be judged this heavily.

The gameplay was very boring, as it was the classic AoS without any new twists.
I wouldn't play this game again, even if I were into AoS's, it hasn't got anything to offer... all heroes are classic heroes, the modes, what modes?
There were some tooltip mistakes (quite minor though), although the entire tooltip template needs some re-vamping (especially the colors).

The triggers are all right, although they're rather inefficient - especially for these kind of 'heavier' maps.

If those custom models are all you've got to offer, then you might want to re-think your strategy, as it won't work here.

first this is definately no aos...
i mean...no base to defend, no units spawning from the teams, no (real) towers, and no qinning condition which includes the destruction of the enemy base.
imo its clearly a (team) hero arena.

secondly the heroes are pretty much not "classic"
almost all skills are very customized and usually eyecandy.
or would you consider a buff that lets you do(for example) +3xagi bonus dmg per hit for a certain time as classic...?

WAIT... your description of this map actually fits perfectly for "shounen wars"...is there any chance you actually confound it with this map...?
this would actually explain the reason why you call this map a classic aos without twists

No, actually I meant Arena with AoS (stupid mistake, whatever, can happen, can't be bothered to fix it either).
The rest is correct in my opinion: the heroes ARE classic and yes, skills are usually eyecandy, the game would probably have a great score concerning eyecandy, but they're still not original (I haven't said anything about spells in my previous review though).
