Molten Core WoW Dungeon Replica Template

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
The molten core dungeon is that place in WoW where you fight Ragnaros the fire lord. This map was once a request from someone, but they never finished it and I remained owner over the terrain.

This map has been sitting on my PC for over a year now and apart from the terrain and some edited object data, it should be totally empty.

Put this to use however you like, crediting me is not required.

It's a nice terrain but as far as a template goes, it's not too showy. This would work better as a playable map. It's filled with monotonous looking stuff: everything is based on red hues and doodads are all original game ones. Right now, it doesn't...
To be honest, I just wanted to get rid of this.
It's nothing but a painful reminder of wasted effort to me.

The map's contents should be 100% vanilla with some data edits, no custom resources should be present.

You don't have to credit me if you decide to use it and you've got permission to use it however you like.

But, I marked it as template.

I'm not sure that's gonna be enough for the mods, I think you need to actually post it in the proper forum. Anyhow, the terrain looks good at first glance, but maybe a tad bit too intense red fog. I also think smaller, red rocks would look good around the larger rock spires. See image for reference:

You're lacking filler doodads, but keep it up. You're getting better.

I've been sitting on this for over a year now, I could improve it ,but I just want to get rid of it tbh.

Moderators can move this if they want.

Feel free to add me on discord and I'll personally send you some on my finest most recent works

Right now, it doesn't really fit a good template standard.
You should take a look at the neat maps around this section to get some inspiration.
Working only with Warcraft III material requires much more effort to be able to create something worthwhile.

Awaiting Update.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.
