North_rock.blp

It is a simple variation of my road texture (Modern Road) where I recoloured the stripes to yellow and darkend everything a little. Can be used if you want yellow stripes instead of white one. (Some people where complaining about the white stripes)

Made this variation because of a request.

Pls give credits, if you use it in your map.

Lol, i was just about to call you a stealer for stealing the road idea from some other guy, but then i realized that i maybe should look at the name of the creator xD

- its a darn good idea with the ruined roads, would be usefull in a zombiemap.
nice work.

Nice:) But I have a problem with adding tiles! I Can't get it! How to change the tile to my own one ore this one! Can anyone help me?:hohum:

I tried to explain that in my other tileset already:
You must have the tile Northrend Rock in your tileset. Then you import the texture to the given path ('TerrainArt\Northrend\North_rock.blp'), save the map and reload it. When you use the Northrend Rock tile after these steps, it should be replaced with the road texture.
I hope that helps you:smile:
Maybe that helps you.

Feedback / "bug" report.

Btw I found a major flaw in this tile, I'll send you a PM as well as posting it here ok:

The #0 tile has a horizontal stripe, and the #1 tile is a battered horizontal stripe tile. This causes a problem when you place a tile which overlaps the asphalt tile (try using the white concrete tile, for instance). The border of the asphalt tile will automatically select the first few tiles on the set, so if you are making a "sidewalk" you will get a series of horizontal stripes (look at my attachment). If you use "random tileset" for the sidewalk tiles then it gets worse, you get a randomly generated asphalt tile.

I think you can fix this by making the #0 tile a blank asphalt tile (you're assigning it for #17) and making the #1 tile a battered blank tile (the one for #16

Yea I now that if you do overlapping tiles at the sides of the road it will probably mess up the underneath lying tiles there. But in general you can easily fix that by using the variation, where you got the plain asphalt tile as underneath lying tile and copy it on every place where these tiles are overlapping.

I didn't know that the first tiles are in the middle of the texture, because on most other tileset textures the general tiles are on the left side with the borders, while the specified tile variations are on the right side. I could easily change the positions of the tiles but I think it isn't necessary as you can solve the problem on the way I described above. And if the markless asphalt tiles are #16 and #17 or #0 and #1 doesn't really matter, because the borders of the overlapping tiles aren't affected.

PS: Sorry that I forgot to respond on your first comment. But I'm not planning to do any other tileset textures right now. I just did that one, because there didn't existed any really useable texture that I could use for a modern road.
