Mountain King Tournament

Goal
-Win over the opponent team 5/10/15 times and claim your title as the Mountain King.

-1v1/2v2/3v3/4v4 system.
-Custom Voices such as (5, 4, 3, 2, 1 FIGHT! etc).

About
-I created this after being bored from trying to have a nice micro game between 2 players on the Footman Frenzy map.

-The game is based on micro (how good you can control your hero) and teamplay.


Goal as Creator
- My goal with my creation is to get clans to play it so that I can set up tournaments where clans battle each other to become the 1st world ranked MKT (Mountain King Tournament) Clan.
- I wanted to refresh my triggering memory for the reviving of my other project, Bosses of Warcraft.

However this game does NOT support "Computer" play.
Also, in order to play this you need to make sure that If you go 1v1, you use the top spots in Team Red and Team Blue. If you go 2v2 you use the 2 top player spots in Team Red and Team Blue. This means that you cannot play 2v2 with player spot 3 and 4 in Team Red likewise player spot 3 and 4 in Team Blue. Same goes for 3v3, but then with player spot 4 only.

a lot of people can't see maps with long names.

i don't know why, change the map name and you should be able to see it.

I think its because of the map path being so big but yeah change name to smaller and everybody can see.

The Game was fun, unique, and extreme to play with!.

Although I feel unease to think that every MK has only 1hp while their skills were meant to spam as fast as a race car. atleast make a balanced health point like a 5/5 for players to have a chance to battle there opponent on this game.

Because of such a inferior health points to handle, the game is too risky and middle-term entertainment for easy and serious type of players, and for the fight location, the 3v3 and 4v4 were great! but for the 1v1 and 2v2, make the starter location far to each other so there will be a thrill on each clash for the players to go into.

The Terrain scoring for this one doesn't count, but still, I adore it! each player fight had a different terrain to play with and that is really cool, well I sure dig this section of my observation.

Your management went good, nothing bad to see, except for the MK's health which is really a problem from my opinion, try increasing it a little bit.

Bug/s

I don't know if I am wrong or any, its just that I tried playing this solo (for a quick review) how come the Replaced AI always activates its invulnerable skill when I throw that rock skill? just curious

Fixed:

-Fixed a minor leak.
-Increased HP so that it requires 2x of Throw Hammer in order to lay a kill. However 1x Throw Rock will remain deadly.

-Fixed issue where the game would not show up in the game list due to the long name. Name is now MKT (Mountain King Tournament).

First things first: it's good that you add "prot" at the end of the file name, but please remove it from the actual map name.
We want to play "Mountain King Tournament", not "MKT V0.08 Prot" (aesthetic details are important to me).
Oh, and promoting the hive is great, but please do not ask for rep (not even in-game).
Not only because it's lame, but also because nobody wants to read such a huge amount of text (try to say as much as you can with as few words as possible).

The map gets extremely boring after a while.
It's constantly the same thing: no upgrades, no different maps (once the game started), no options to change the gameplay.
I highly advice you to add options!
They're not just for decoration, they're to make the game exciting.
What if I want to get to 20 kills? Or only to 5? What if I want to change the map? What if I want a random map to be chosen every round?
There are so many possibilities, yet you chose none! (Aside from the team options, but in such maps that's pretty much required).

Now I know upgrades might ruin the balancing if I just say 'needs upgrades', as players who are winning will be able to buy more upgrades etc, but that doesn't have to be the case.
You can give a certain amount of points to upgrade certain spells (everyone gets the same amount of points), this adds a greater strategical value (if done correctly).

The intro could've been done with a fade filter instead of ASCII codes (the "WELCOME").
The sounds are good... can't complain there (in my eyes the best 'detail' of the map).
You should know that I only give negative points for importing non-custom material (the sounds are custom-made for your map, they're different), you cannot possibly get positive points because you know how to import files.
You got no points for importing, so that means it's okay. You didn't import too much, nor did you import files which you didn't need.

The terrain is simple, yet effective. Not much to say: sunken ruins is rather easy to create good-looking terrains with.
Blizzard cliffs fit in this map (strategic factor), you didn't add cinematic doodads, you kept it plain and simple (that's neither positive nor negative).

You might want to tell the players how long the "Hammer Throw" stuns the target, e.g.: "You throw a hammer, stunning the target for 1 second".
You also might want to add colons :)) behind every spell factor, e.g.: "Range: 400 / Damage: 1 / ...".
Another useful thing is adding the hotkey in the spell name. This can be done by adding it between brackets at the end (in my eyes a lot easier to spot than in the tooltip itself).


This map can be greatly improved, but has all the necessary elements for approval.
Therefore, I will approve it.

(hypothetical rating would be around 3/5, not added because I only did some minor testing).

WTF i see that the map is Totally Epic, people saying that can be even the top map here!! Gona Test It Right Now!!!

That's a joke right? This map is no where NEARRRR being the top map on here. It's really simple at the moment, and gets boring after a while. I mean, for the scope of the game, I suppose it is made decently and there don't seem to be leaks etc. But that's about it. Nothing extraordinary here. 2.5/5. No offense Sverkerman but that's my honest opinion. My rating can always change though! I will elaborate on what needs fixing if you need me to.

i never played the map before, ok, if you have the problem is yours... and i dint liked as well, i think is too much simple and tiresome...
but i liked the resources, like UI an some icons... and for the momment to bugs found, 4/5 for this one +1 rep point

The Map Is trully Amazing, for that it had an epic vote from me, but i dint liked ALOT of things, or the map style wasnt made for persons like me...

The Loved things:
Models, Ui's, skins, textures and tiles. the voices when a tournament begins is really cool :D. (+4)

The Hated things:
The Small Life of the units, the totally useless and poor ability of the rock throw and the MK's atack speed. you could make it very more slower. The MK dont have chance to change their itens...(-3)

The Bonus Things:
No Bugs, errors or mistakes found (+1 rate point) - Very Nice discription (+0,25 rate point) - The Darkened Map (-0,10) - Nice Idea for maps (+1,75)

Total: 4-3+3 = 4 + 1rep point
:D VERY INCRIBLE MAP!! im sure if i liked to play it, i would give 5/5, but is 4/5 for :D

hmm, i think it has been bugged to me...
When i throw the rock, even with 1hp the oposite MK dont dye!, he dont even is damaged, not affected by any buff, absolutely Nothing happens, thats why i think is trully useless, but if for other persons it works, so i throw away what i said before...

hey i got an idea :)

how about mode that goes like this:
2 units are the king/boss (1 for each team)
to win is to kill these units, until they die, the other units will re-spawn and re-spawn until this king dies, this will cause some action and protection AND offence at the same time

But to make it fair, the re-spawn will need time like 10-30 sec. maybe, but also the king/boss will be slower and both teams should know who is the boss, by adding a model for the king OR give a buff (that shows without clicking) that this is the king.

So is it good? or too much? :p
