Godamid Dave, how you do that stuff dso fast and so nice every time? I really like them, they arent overdesigned and seem to fit well ingame, with simple but well made animations too. The Angmarin can be used as Dalaran soldiers or something if necessary from how close they resemble wc3 units. The banneers that come with them are nice little additions.

I seriously having problem nitpicking bad stuff from the models, only thing I could get is that you added the wrng model for the numenorian swordsman :p

@HerrDave
Reserved means you reserve that post for a changelog or something like that, its kind of unnecessary since you can do that in the description.
Basically yes. It's a way for the model creator to snag the first post for any pertinent information about the model.

Part of why one would want to do this is because many modelers have found that people simply do not read the model descriptions. However, nearly everyone stops at the first post. That's their own problem, but modelers take advantage of that tendency in this way (i.e. if you can't beat 'em, join 'em).

Secondarily (though this is less of an issue now that we have Bundles), it was also of use to allow modelers to attach all manner of related things; not only images but model/texture variations, matching icons, test maps, etc; in a way that could act as an extension of the initial "upload" format (since the "initial upload" doesn't/didn't always let you attach an arbitrary number of arbitrary files).

That's intentional, as units arc their arrows/projectiles in-game

Now that I can transfer animations, that'll be less of a hassle to make.

I've literally gone through three iterations and backed out of all three because I couldn't get it right.

While that's true for most projectiles, you can set the arc of the projectile yourself.

Currently it does look very weird if you shoot at close range.

You can probably give him a stand ready animation as well where he keeps his weapon down implying his loading the bolt.

The crossbowman does already a quick reload in the end of the attack animation.

By the way HerrDave, the feet of the models are gigantic, i know you always go for a wc3 look, but it is just too large this time.

My models (for the most part) need to pass what I call the "Footman Test" where I set up the model next to a footman. If it looks too HD or too simplistic in an area, I adjust it to be more akin to the detail of Blizzard's footman, this includes scaling of certain things like the helmet, feet, and shield size.

My natural theme tends to revolve around the humans in "The Hobbit" (2003)
Though without quite as large a head.
latest

So basically, big hands/gauntlets, big feet/boots, big helmet, big sword & shield, normal frame body.

Having only played Battle for Middle Earth games, I didn't expect them to look like this. I hope you do more Angmar subfactions, like snow trolls, gundabad orcs, etc.

Would you be interested in making a version of these excellent models without an eye :) ? It could make them a lot more universally useful.
