MagicLightning_Aura

What is this? An aura, or a buff.
Basically it can be used on 2 purpose, an aura or buff.
Thanks to General Frank for giving me a clue about how to make an aura at the same time can be used as buff.

Anyway, this a screenshot from magos, and it won't look as good as this ingame. I'm so sorry. Still, I hope you find this useful :)

v1.0 - First upload
v1.1 - Added birth and death anim. Changed to zap texture for the particles.
v1.2 - Made the birth effects become bigger (Thanks to APproject)
v1.3 - Made the birth effects become bigger and come from higher place (Who else besides APproject? :D)

Yes, it's rather remarkable isn't it? Auras are always nice, and due to the fact that we have relatively few resources on the lightning front this is a dignified addition to the database.

I find it too small sized as for to be used as spell, I mean, scale size. How about if it would be larger scale size? Because using it as target or area of effect, this effect is so small, I see no power in it. Only way to make it bigger is by using dummies.
Or am I mistaking?

Edit: Hmm, I'm glad you paid attention to my suggestion. I tested it and it is still way too small in my opinion. It's your model and your understanding of it, but I think it would look cooler if it would be 3 ar 4 times bigger scale sized. It is just a suggestion, not a necessity.

Seems like you updated it again. But again, I can't find what I want :D

I set this model as a Caster special effect for Thunder Clap ability. Take a look at the screenshot below, that is what I see:

Screenshot 1.

And this is what I want to see.

(But seems like the quality of textures is suffering, guess making it bigger and in same great quality level as it was in small size would cost some time and few times bigger model kilobytes size)

Haha I made this for an aura :D
I can make an instant type for you, so you want it? (With animations merged together)

No, there is no need. You see, in my opinion, if this would be used for Area of Effect damage spell, it should be that sized as in screenshot 2. Because its current size is for Caster or Buffing I guess, so it's fine. I thought of AOE, and I meant that current size is too small for AOE. Just that.

But screenshot 1 is more fitting if used as an aura, which seems to be the primary intention of the model. If we want to use it as an AoE effect then maybe we should use dummys instead.
